The people of Niger Delta should focus their anger on their past state Governors who fail to deliver thereby money laundring their state funds to their personal accounts. Look at Ibori and Odili, yet people are killing poor Nigerians as if they are the ones that stole the state funds. Is that not Craziness? 1 Like |

sanrima:Those innocent victims was murdered by Nigeria Dirty Bribe lover/taker police, Our well trained Freedom Fighters 'Royal N. Delta Marine' under the command of Honourable Ateke Tom never and will not attack civilians. It was the ill trained and equip rag tag Nigeria Police that kill those innocent people after suffering defeat from the hands of Freedom Fighter, they directed their angers towards innocent people. |

@ topic Very pathetic situation. The number of the dead is more than that number oh (13). willy*2: not entirely true. At least some1 i know that was shot and survived with a scratch on his arm said they (4 of them - himself inclusive) were shot by some boys in a taxi-like car. Obviously mistaken identity. Again, the Poilce are fond of transfering their anger on innocent citizens after they return from running in the face of the really armed militants. My own thoughts: (wishful thinking though) We should jst take a break outta this city for like 2 weeks and leave the militants and the military to dig it out and let's see the last man standing. |

The funniest thing about all these violence is that the people from ND do not know the solution to their own agitations to the extent that they now kidnap and mail innocent people . The brother of a friend of mine who is stationed in Delta state was shot in the shoulder by some of these gangsters on 31st December 2007 and some people lost their lives. I now wonder what the struggle is all about? Really it beats my understanding. |

Breaking News : MILITANTS’ THREAT: Rivers Gov Moves Family Abroad Posted by admin on 2008/1/3 16:07:27 (1042 reads) By Simon Ateba There were indications last night that the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has moved his wife and children to London after militants struck again in the state, killing policemen and several people on New Year day. Heavily armed militants had invaded Port Harcourt, the state capital, on New Year day, killing dozens of people at two police stations and at the Presidential Hotel. The deadly attack came barely two days after the lifting of the curfew in Port Harcourt. The governor’s wife and children arrived Lagos last night at about 7.30 p.m. with their luggage and several aides. http://www.thenewsng.com/modules/zmagazine/article.php?articleid=21570 |

many of you are not well informed, Government knows who can kill who and get away with it, The government know who this millitant are and who finance them, ateke tom is big time cult leader in Niger delta. why is the government not talking about how our childred are initiated into fratanal orders in a early age in school. OK, none of you are aware that we have secret cults in hight schools and universities even in government circle. This very secret rich men clubs are the ones preventing this very great nation from moving forward. If you have the greatest ideal that will transform Nigeria into one of the leading economies of the world and you don't belong to there secret fratanal order, then you are just wasting your time. The chaos of militancy, armed robbery, poverty are all cards on the table they are using to distract your mind from the truth. WAKE UP AND DO YOUR HOME WORK -- NIGERIA IS RULED BY SECRET SOCIETIES. In school they thought you to be a good citizen and serve you country Nigeria that is why when you find out the Truth it becomes bitter and unbelievable KNOW YOUR ENEMIES |

Naija people,we are all going into deep discussion without answering the why questions. Why are the Why is Dokubo-Asari(a 2 time university drop out) is the man that can led the Niger deltans to the promise land ? Why did the supreme court judge pass a judgement and sworn in the New Governor of Rivers state ? Why is Ibori in Prison ? Answers to the why questions in Nigeria will a step to towards solutions. |

brownbonno:The Freedom Fighters are fighting to liberate their land from the hands of Hausa/Yoruba/Fulani decade of exploitation, brownbonno:If Dokubo is his peoples choice to lead them let him lead, they believed he is 100% better than those corrupt Fulani/Yoruba/Hausa mismanage rulers brownbonno:Those Fulani/Hausa judges conspired with Yoruba judges to cause confusion/conflict in River State so that they will continue their exploitation and impoverishing of the people. brownbonno:Those that impoverished the Niger Delta people for the past 45year want to portray as if 8years of Ibori was the cause of poverty of his people, that is why Fulani/Hausa and Yoruba collaborated to imprison him. |
