Hi I need a lil advice. 2 years ago, my scalp started to itch. Very very badly. I'm not sure what I did but it stopped. Then my hair started falling off. It's been falling off since then and I experience infrequent itching.

I'm male not female so no frequent hair product or weaves. I would like this to stop permanently. What do I do please

How long is your hair? What exactly do you mean by your hair's falling out (like, is it coming out in clumps, are there white bulbs on the ends)? Are you highly stressed?

How long ago: 2 years. Give or take a few months
How I mean: light pulling or combing. It breaks off. Not from the roots though. Sometimes I see a strand or 3 on my pillow or shoulder.
Stressed: not necessarily. At least I am sure I've not been under the same condition for 2+ years.

Remember the condition had started with very intense scalp itching around the center and front part of my scalp.

Thank you for any ideas

Hello everyone.

I also want to start rocking natural hair.

I had my last perm four weeks ago.

I don't want to do the big chop yet. Please I need advice on the hairstyles to do.

I'm thinking of buying hair wonder products . (shampoo, oil and cream)

what other products would I need.

My permed hair is long, full and thick.

I know my natural hair will be very stubborn.

Please suggests hairstyles and good and very affordable products.

Thank u

Heyo. I heard hair wonder products are very good, you can also try African pride products and YES your natural hair is DEFINITELY going to be stubborn. The fact that your relax hair was long and full means it was able to withstand/resist some damages which relaxers create so imagine if that stops grin

Deep conditioning helps soften. Good luck

I'm as excited as you are. Been transitioning for 9 months grin

Hi there I just stumbled upon this forum while I was searching for good hair moisturizers online (anyone have any cheap recommendation?). I felt happy to share with my fellow natural sistas I'm 18 btw, I'm a 6month natural and my mom and family members haven't made this journey easy for me they hate that I'm going natural they see it as tomfoolery because my hair was flourishing from the third and fourth pics inserted. my scalp has always been very sensitive to relaxers so I only relaxed once a year my relaxed hair was 6years whilst I transitioned for 2years I cut my hair when I was 10 cause my dad died if you were wondering the 6years mark. I feel tired in this journey imagine the products I suffered to save money and get on my own my mom just smashed them yesterday we fought as well . why is being myself a problem to my own family whilst people out there accept and encourage me?

Thanks for your opinion sad

but must natural hair be expensive I've gotten alot of things already and my hair's doing great. The thing is I didn't turn natural because all the youths are doing so and now it's a trend, I did because my scalp is very sensitive and I don't last up to an hour with relaxers on. my hair always looked like it was texlaxed instead of relaxed which always annoyed my mom.

I'll just keep on going even tho I run on only Shea butter, coconut oil and water it's less hectic and pain filled as opposed to relaxers. :-(. :-)

There are plenty of lotions out there and you need to understand your needs to be able to get just the right one for your skin. If you don't know how to do sift through the dozens out there, that's not a bad thing. There are gobs of sites out there like Style Hair Magazine, that can ease your selection.
