If her mother and grandmother had broken homes, think
again before taking her to d altar.
If his father and grandfather were polygamists and wife
beaters, think again before u agree to marry Him.

I have seen traits repeat themselves, if u have too, tell us...
If u believe what I said is wrong, give us your reasons, we are here to learn...
Gudmorning pals...

No you are wrong, It has nothing to do with hereditary
rather if you choose a partner based on lust or cash.

So, if u wanna get married and ur mother-in-law and her own mother(ur wife's granny) all had broken homes, u won't consider dat as a factor?

Dude, i like this topic but why kill it? "Does Family History Matters A Lot When Choosing Your Partner? would have been better and also earn a deserved attention.

@Topic: Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't depending on what matter is to be considered. If the grandmother and mother had a broken home, it doesn't interpret that a child born into that family will have a broken home if it's not supernaturally related.

If the grandfather and father was alcoholic doesn't mean the son would be but if they were polygamous and such individual doesn't have some strong set of beliefs against the act of many wives then he just might follow that pattern.

Good topic dude and hope more people respond.

It doesn't really have to be spiritual for traits to repeat themselves, esp when it comes to blood...
What happened to the saying, 'it runs in the family'

no, I have my decisions and choices.

I used to say such tins, until I tot time to study events... Believe me, it's a big factor.. If it happened to d granny and d parent, den u have to be very careful... if it happened to just the parent, it could be a one-off, so that was y I included the grandparents in my post...

Emphasis wasn't on spiritual but the individual. The saying "it runs in the family" is a fallacy and it can only be used to justify evil.

i think it matters, at least from what i've seen. Some go into their marriages with the intent of not repeating such but inexplicably find themselves in it

@op i think the history you are referring to is Medical history which can be linked to the D.N.A, that one is important but alcoholism/broken homes is not in anyone's D.N.A...

Shouldn't it be about the person and the person's way of thinking. Family history should be considered to some extent but that should not be the determining factor because a person can have opposing ideology to what others in the family uphold.
