Thank God!! How are you doing? I was worried about you. Anyway, the heartburn is probably due to the pressure you uterus is exerting on your stomach. You may use antacids, calcium based preferably. Also small frequent meals, stay away from dairy and try not to eat late at night. Good luck and please keep in touch

doc,i m having a feeling that i m pregnant,i m having cramps in my left lower abdomen and lower back by the left, i read about it and they said it might be a sign of early pregnancy, and 3 of my married friend confirmed they hard it too but they were treated for infection without affecting d preg.I went to complain though i ve not missed my period, i did urialasyt and swap test so i m currently on augumentin drug and gentamycin injection for 5 days. My problem is that i did not do preg test before commencing d medication and i m having d feelings like nausea and swollen breast and some time head ache and constipation, doc i want to be sure d medication will not affect my preg in case i m pregnant

@wallace 100
Please don't worry. Both those antibiotics are safe and commonly used in pregnancy. Please try to take a pregnancy test as soon as you miss your period. If it is positive, I would highly recommend an early ultrasound to check that the pregnancy is in the uterus. Good luck.

Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 12:12am On May 15, 2008

I would suggest going on birth control to ease the amount of flow.
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 12:12am On May 15, 2008
@lifegal
Good for you however, be careful, even if the placentas are on the same wall, it does not mean that the twins are identical. good luck
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by lifegal(f): 12:30pm On May 15, 2008

@D-archives
Excuse me Laura B but I just have to reply this post first. My dear, I am of the opinion that you are still pregnant and should get your self to a gyn as fast as you can. That concoction may scald your vagina but will do absolutely nothing to the baby developing in your womb.
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 10:35pm On May 25, 2008
@lauraB
Staphy is a normal finding on the skin however sometimes, it makes it's way into the urinary tract and can cause an infection which is easily treated by antibiotics. Now the role of staphylococcus in infections of the reproductive tract is also well documented however it is not likely to be the initial infection.

Dear doctor, I really need your help as its killing me to see my sister so upset with her condition. I actually dont know what is my sister having and she is too embarrased to see a doctor but I will describe it you. At her anus area, theres a long pinkish stripe all along her anus hole and at the top of her butt just before the hole, theres this white dry patch and its flaky. Its colour pink and when try to remove it, it looks like a dandruff. When she scratch it out, it will regrow again and if dont scratch it out, it will be there forever. She has that same flaky skin condition at her elbow, small ones at her nect and alot on her scalp. Do you know what is that and how to cure it once and for all? Please Help and thank you so much.

P/S: Its not itchy or pain at all but I think it should be annoying cause it wont go away no matter how many types of creams she is using.

Hi,
Any oral contraceptive will suppress your ovaries and mainly the dose or genetics will determine how soon you restart ovulation. If you are consistent, I would advise condom use. If this is not a palatable option, use a low dose estrogen OCP.

@salsera
Everybody is asymmetrical. If there is a huge difference, I would advise a consultation with a plastic surgeon.

@gabrywyl
It is difficult to say. I would advise your sister to go to a dermatologist. She doesn't need to show her butt. Her elbow should be enough to give the doctor an idea of what is going on
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 3:55am On May 30, 2008
@vinna
You can have the cyst removed. You can also have the cyst opened up in a procedure known as marsupialization.
