@ beta things........I thought the specification is a white strong healthy ram.(given to Abraham to replace Ishmaeel for his sacrifice) and I have heared times without num. that a ram has the highest blessing..and thats why its recommended that one must kill a ram before palnning to include a cow or any other big recommended animal. and thats why cost of ram goes hihger than any other specie of animal recommended for the sacrifice. That explains why i might prefer buying a ram for as high as 120k than a cow for 90k.

Pls kindly coroborate your statement 6 above.

I dont think ppl can com 2geda 2 buy a ram except 4 cow n camel.And buyin of the animal is not a 'do or die' affair o.Remember,Allah wud not ask 4 d account of wat he did not provid u wit.

Tips i used in getting the best rams at affordable price.


1 ensure you have at least 5 of ur friends buying the same day

2 approach the place a day to salah or very early orning on salah day i.e 6 am in the morning

3 gather all your money with friends together and ensure you have more of N100 or N200 denomination

4 Dont allow any agbero be it yoruba or hausa tribe

5 Target if u go a day to sallah rams still in lorries before they evacuate them to their final destination

6 Approach the ram seller and buy in groups not individual.

7 Minimum N40k, select the best, give N35K each and give all the money to him to count by himself, if he agrees better if he doest add all the 5k in the lower denomination and give to him to count.
