If Jesus was GOD, then why in Mark 12:29 did Jesus say, "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." The words "our God" indicate that Jesus had a higher God over him, a stronger God than him. Jesus didn't say "Your God". He said "our God" which includes Jesus as the creation of GOD. ----------- If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 20:17 did Jesus say, "I ascend to my God and your God? This tells us that we and Jesus have a common GOD. Muslim: If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 14:28 did Jesus say, "My Father (GOD) is greater than I"? |

They only show that Jesus was the Son of God and human. They don't show that Jesus show that Jesus being the Son of God and human means that he cannot be God. Rather, there is a passage that proves that Jesus was both God and Man. John 1 New International Version (NIV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. |

Could any of you disputing the fact that Jesus is Lord and God explain to me what isaiah meant when he described Jesus as mighty God, everlasting father and prince of peace? Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Pls i need urgent answer to that! |

frosbel: You know what? It's glaringly clear to me now that u just aint as spiritually matured as i thought, i just posted a scripture that proved that christ is same as God but just chooses to humble himself according to phil 2:6 but it seems ur spiritual level could'nt fathom it. So i'll just let it go and pray the lord helps u to know him more. But sincerely i cant yet figure out the kind of spirit u were baptised with cos it's definately not the holy spirit that i do sense from every comment you've ever made on this forum.
