I have heard a doctrine of the Curse of the first Born. Speaking strictly about male children. From the scriptures we have, Cain, Ham son of Noah, Esau. Reuben, Manasseh. To mention but a few.
Although there could be some exception. I have also observed similar things. To a large extent, the most successful children in a family are not usually the first male.
What's your take on it?

Indeed there's a curse of the first born.. From Esau to Manasseh, all the way to Jesus, the first child has suffered violence and sometimes hatred in God's great plan...
So it's not a curse per se, just God's perfect will..

As a First Born. Too much is expected of you. Morally and in many other stages of life. If your parents aren't capable of carrying the family financially. The first born will be forced to be a Third Parent. That way he/she won't focus on his/her career. So you'll end up helping your younger ones. By the time you get a little breathing space. Time, you'll get to realise ain't your friend anymore. So God is not that wicked to let all that stand. And the Biblical first borns mentioned, where from the old testament. So what about the first born in the New testament?

First borns,especially boys are showered lots of attention and love and most of them tend to misuse it and become irresponsible. My dad makes sure he gives my elder brother who is d first born evrytin he ask,and wil even tell us to manage when we ask,but for my brother,he must give him ooo without telling him to manage. My brother now take took advantage of it and became dependent on my dad for everytin and its a big problem now cos the five of us dat are after him has graduated from school and are doing well while he is stil in school battling to graduate. The bible spoke about this...its one of the laws which were stated by moses, according to the old testament, every male first born was to be God's servent nd if not, a sacrifice should be made as a substitute. The core truth is that this has effects in some families.
