zomby: Paris: There are many wealthy lazy people out there, their laziness usually shows with time. I can list names if u want.
Mike works day and night like an animal that is desperate for food. This is why the man remains at the top for over 30 yrs now. If u think the mansion at banana island is something, u should go and take a look at his mansion in uk or france or Ghana or rep of ben or south Africa.

If U have nothing good to say, shutting ur mouth isn't a bad idea.

Mike remains the hardest working Nigerian that I have ever come across.

May The Lord remwmber each and every one of us.

Amen

Just hear yourself out. When did you become his PR? Being wealthy or rich is a good thing. But when people starts attributing their wealth to hard-work (especially in Nigeria), then one begin to critique and analyse the word 'Hard-work'. To be wealthy is to be shrew and shady or be lucky and fraudulent.

And for saying Mike is the hardest working Nigerian ever, you're simply making everyone know how ignorant and brainwashed you've become. To have millions in Account means you're rich, and to be wealthy means you're above anything millions. Point to one honest wealthy Nigerian, and I'll disproof his claim.

Why put a giant inverted golden beer can next to a classic mansion?
Each should stand alone.

@Paris and Cooldun:
Again, mike adenuga represents one of the most hard working Nigerian alive. This is not just cheap talk, but true talk. I have experienced the man in action. I know many of his friends that started along side with him, but laziness, lack of true vision and self discipline wouldn't allow most of these people to maintain their status at the top. Mike clearly knows how when to play and also when work has to get done.
Sometimes this man doesn't sleep, 99 percent of the time when he isn't in his office this man is out for business. That is all he does and love to do. It is a cheap shot not to recognize or emulate mike adenuga magnificent work ethic.

Just In case you did not know:
He is the first to introduce real blackberry service in Nigeria
He is the first and only indeginuos entity to strike crude oil In dec 1991
He is the only reason why mtn and other telecom companies are reducing the cost of telecom services in Nigeria ....he introduced per second competition that continues to benefit an average joe in Nigeria today.
Just a few months ago he was given the biggest award in Nigeria simply for his hard work and priceless mighty vision/drive.
Among other great things, he also just contributed .5b naira to flood victims in Bayelsa and many more.

It is holiday time, for a change let us recognize hard work and great Nigerians. And stop talking negatively especially when we are clueless. Mike adenuga has not only been recognized by your president, but also been recognized by many other top leaders outside Nigeria.

Whether you like it or not the man is blessed and I'm sure that he wouldn't stop breaking your hearts by accomplishing more and more with time. So, why not just bury hatred and embrace love?

pipz: Point of correction, moderator, that is not his house its his new home. Banana Island is divided into 2 sections 1st and 2nd avenue. The former is commercial and residential while the latter is strictly residential and that is where Adenuga's palace is, its d largest private residential property in Ikoyi. The estate is now fenced up with concrete wondering why he did that cause the fence used to be steel rodes that you can see through the palace. Also his backyard is partly the lagoon.
Julius Berger has their office and logo in it, letting you know that its a multi billion naira project.
The house is built in Italian style, just like Don Corleone.
Not sure if he's moved in yet. Nevertheless,
Congratulations Otunba. May God continue to bless you.

And for you haters, go kill urselves.....
He also has an exact replica of that building in Minister's Hill Area in Abuja. The Building is also being constructed by the same Julius berger, it was completed late this year and would be commisioned next year hopefully
The man is really on a serious display of wealth...
