A few days ago i was complaining to someone that i recieved a hand bill to come and have free valentine suya, and it was powered by a church. What is really wrong with us why have we reduced ourselves to money making ventures. Please brothers nd sisters, lets do what is right and avoid been brainwashed.

To evangelize, propagate the gospel, like paul wrote to fellow brethren in other countries takes a lot of money these days. Do you know what it costs to air a single message, print materials, feed the poor? Please dont get me wrong, im totally aganist this materialism that has prevaded the church, but the propagation of the gospel and even helping the lost with the message of hope in a world ruled by unbelievers is not easy without money.

Although, i have always been spiritual; as in i tend to look at things from a deeper perspective. I tried to find answers to certain questions using man made philosophy but couldn't. Then, with a deep sense of spirituality, i went on a fasting and asked God for answers; that I want to strike a balance and my eyes was opened. I was filled with the holy spirit and knocked down for 2weeks. A lot was revealed to me. There is going to be a A great awakening in the church. I have recognised my gifts and will use it to serve God in truth and in spirit to the fullest of the glory. I dropped all my plans and shall proceed in studying Theology.

The bible is a powerful book. It contains everything that we need to make this world a better place including scientifically. With the word of God and our faith , we can move mountains and unlock potentials that will give us abundance.

cocospice: i was amazed tuday wen d head usher of my church said dat the church has a policy for tithing and also auditors cum for proper accounting. I asked mysef is dz sum company running a business, i was disappointed.

church in Nigeria this day is big business, they keep records of their members tithe and there is nothing like non tithing member, no tithe means you can be denied to some products/services like baby dedication. etc
