One should congratulate you here that your very first thread hits 11pages in about 4 day?! You sure were led to open it. Can we have a summary from you on this thread?

One obvious fact here is that most commentator hardly shift their grounds but that shouldn't discourage bc many who read but do not comment go away with something for their edification.

I for one I am becoming more and more convinced that those who question the whole gospel of grace may be serving another god, not our Lord and Master Jesus. Paul warned Timothy to take heed to his doctrine bc thereby he would save himself and his listeners. Their gospel may very well not save anyone.

I stop here and look fwd to ur summary.

Mat 23:2The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Are the bolded words above not the words of yashua the master that you claim to serve?

If you are truly his disciple then try and observe all that moses commanded instead of following the doctrines of men.

who's this carnal minded fellow? What has number of thread pages got to do with congratulations and being led? Not surprised anyway, just stating how pathetic your values are.

I'm glad this topic was well received, I'm sure we've all increased in knowledge, no matter what side we argued from. My summary is more of an observation and an advice.

People try to make the scriptures say what they want it to say to fit into what they can rationalize. Grace is truly mindblowing and that we're now righteous without obedience to the law sounds too good to be true. But instead of rejecting truth because it sounds too good to be true or deflating it into sizes we can rationalize, we should rather ask the Holy Spirit to open our understanding to comprehend it as it is.

I believe if all advocates of works can do this, we will all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God, of which the gospel of infinite Grace is definitely one. The righteousness of Christ is the justification of all who are in Him through faith, whether or not they obey the law; and fellowship with the Spirit is the key to perfection and glorification.

Thanks to all who participated with their comments and views (both for and against)and those who only viewed and followed the topic. May Christ open our hearts and minds and fill them with the knowledge and understanding of His person. Amen. Be blessed - Ayoku

When will this bitterness stop with the conservatives? DrummaBoy is just happy that truth generated a buzz for a change instead of the many falsehoods that used to. Its not just congratulations to me but to the truth and the sound revelation of Grace.

Thanks Boomark, that cited scripture is an argument-ending one in this conflict of works ang grace. The law is not made for the righteous. And who are the righteous? Those who have accepted Christ in faith. So what is now made for the righteous? The fellowship and communion of the Spirit.

Sorry to spoil the Party

But I have to put a Literal spanner in your grinding machine.

We are not here to Argue.

But to apply fire (literally)

The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church these words:

“For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth” (I Cor.5:7-8, NIV).

Paul told his disciples to follow him just as he was following Yashua Ibn Joseph

There are countless examples like the above within scripture where Paul is doing exactly as the master is doing in this case observing the Passover, a feast that has been ordained as forever to a peculiar and chosen poeple.

Which one come be una own?

So I guess you also keep the unleavened feast, the firstfruits, pentecost, trumpets, atonement and tabernacle feasts. And you meet all the regulations slated out under them. Coz breaking one is also breaking all. And I'm sure you don't shave your beards too

Even if I didn't observe them the father would never condemn me

But what I will never do is to teach my children to be Lawless or tell them categorically there is no need to be obedient to the Laws of the most high God

Or speak with my mouth against the truth and say he has been done away with

In reference to the bolded above its only the Lawless that keep on with this doctrine of breaking the law, the true believers look to uphold all that the master upheld (thy kingdom come)

you choose to use their word in a twisted manner.

Instead you run in circles proclaiming do as paul says but not necessarily as yashua and paul do

Hey all ye lawless ones

How can an individual be telling you something has been put aside and yet he himself is still ascribing to it?

Devotees of the heresy of "grace unlimited", find abundant support for their distorted teachings in the epistles of Paul. There are millions of present-day professing Christians who actually believe that this 'apostle was the founder of a “New Gospel of Grace”. It is this teaching that has opened the door of the church to the world: unrestricted license, freedom and liberty from all law to any who will accept and believe the new Gospel. It is this interpretation which has heralded these present times of lawlessness and crime without proper judgment in the world.

What Paul teaches throughout his letters is that only the Spirit of God, received through faith, gives life to the written text of the Bible. The Bible is to be followed in faith, as it is the way God Himself gave us to conduct our lives.

The Bible is not meant to be followed in the flesh:

Romans 7:14a - For we know that the law is spiritual.
