Evil Brain: so much 4 a theory tht even d scientifc community disputes about. Atheists have to base the theory of evolution on unverified suppositions . Meang evolution is based on faith! Evolution isnt a fact. The non life creatg life thesis is so bogus , of course its a lie, tht so much prodcts are manufactured wth d explicit belief dat theory will never come thru, and it neva has. The rage of d atheists is completely explicable frm d bible viewpoint. This is d same rage dat made a mob ask 4 d crucifxion of Jesus over a vile criminal,a murderer. This is d same rage dat made an entire city want to lynch st. Paul, for preachg christ. It is d same rage tht incensed roman emperors to attack early christians.feedg thm to lions. It satan in frontal mode. Wen satan uses deception and temptation and it dnt wrk he shws his true colors and attacks like a wounded lion. Atheism logical indeed! No spirit realm! I hear u. |

*Kails*: You should throw away your American passport if you have one. Seriously? Do you really believe that it is only atheists that are complaining against this teaching of pseudoscience to children? Do you think hat all science teachers, scientists and people in the education sector are atheists? Even educated and reasoning christians are against this putting religion into science education....... But no, blame the atheists rather than the christians who brainwash children..... Do yu people have any shame? |

Evil Brain: Howdy EvilB, For starters the attempt, by some, at using evolution as a means of explaining the origin of man, while presenting same as fact is a gross misuse of what is factual... Evolution is correct and has proven to be very useful in some regard but in my opinion it would only make sense when it is combined with the theory of creation as far as the origin and development of man are concerned. |

striktlymi: Guy, you're being silly. You can't say that evolution is correct and useful, but please don't apply it to human beings because I don't like it. The theory of evolution applies to all living things including humans. You can't just expect people to pretend that humans are somehow exempt from the laws of nature when we clearly aren't. We have fossil evidence evolution of other living things, and we have fossil evidence of human evolution. We have seen genetic drift and natural selection happening among other living things, and we have tons of evidence of them among humans. Human beings are animals, mammals and apes taxonomically. All the other animals mammals and apes evolve; and so do we. Tough luck that the theory undermines the basis of your religion. But if my religion said that 1+1=3, it would be silly to expect the whole world to pretend that it was true just to spare my feelings. Evolution, including human evolution from primitive life forms, is a fact. Deal with it. *edited for clarity |

...and he decided to press the 'spoil button'... Evil Brain: Can you do everyone a huge favour and show us where I said the bold? Evil Brain: While you are at it...can you also show us where I said humans are exempt from the theory of evolution? Evil Brain: ...and the moral of the story is? Evil Brain: Oh, I see...you also have an opinion...good! Good!! Evil Brain: Do you even understand the difference between a scientific theory and a scientific law? |

striktlymi: For now. More and more chains and links are being discovered. DNA and carbon dating are providing insights into our existence. Soon people will be looking at a different philosophy that God created through the big bang and evolution . |

Atheist:-D: True! Atheist:-D: I believe you are looking at it from a completely different 'looking glass'... The way I see it from my 'looking glass' is that God did it but we do not know how and that's why science is there to help us with our search for the how! 1 Like |

Science is a process. Evolution, Global warming, Big Ban.g, M-theory, general relativity theory are the ideas in vogue. These are what's being researched and discussed. The point is just telling the truth, but discussion. So it doesn't make sense to throw out scientific theory because you believe it isn't true, it would be a premature judgement. Ot is clear that for secular states, it is unconstitutional to propagate religious ideas. Public schools are channels of communication, and they should reflect the secular nature of the State. |
