It's pity how bigotry have made us all to hate ourselves. A thread which is meant to showcase some of the good things you can see and appreciate about the Igbos is gradually gathering bigots.

Took more than a few days off Nairaland and never felt better.

Stopping by to see what's up and it looks to me that not much has changed.

So logging off once again.

Interesting and predictable thread though.

I served in a place around Oji River in Enugu State, right on the boundary with Anambra. It was pretty pristine back then. Anyone knows that state of Oji River now?

She's known as 'Afikpo chic' and a young girl for that matter. Google Afikpo chic for more. Meanwhile, I think this thread should have been created in January with a prior announcement that people take pictures of houses when they go home for Christmas.
What does she do for a living??

That's so cool to hear. One thing I love about Anambra people is our love and brotherliness for one another. The average anambra man is more inclined to help his fellow brother in need, whether from the same village or a distant village in anambra. Ndi anambra na-eme nwanne rinne!

Enugwu-ukwu muonu, zuonu, kachanu!

I hope some of such buildings are preserved for history.
I'd hate to see all south eastern villages become townships.

There are some real cool houses in Enugwu-ukwu but unfortunately I don't have any pictures currently as i'm not in the village.
Awka-etiti is another very badt place in anambra. I have a course-mate and close friend from there. You need to see the mansions and houses in that place. The place rocks indeed.
