You APC folks are clearly bigots. Just reading through all your posts shows it. Most of you are not from Lagos. Most are from Osun, Ekiti and Oyo but keep claiming Lagos because you have forgotten your villages. lol |

Ola Johnson: I hear that. It's just hysterical to see people exposed as noisy frauds, yet they're too shameless to shut up - utterly pathetic. They all spew crap about Lagos all the time, however they can't do without the city. 67 of them got reunited with their families (with due process), yet they have been crying everywhere. Yo, I'm just laughing at the expose!! 3 Likes |

some-girl: do anambra people not pay taxes? are your taxes not meant to beautify the state and make life easier for the citizens of your state? is removing destitutes/beggars from the streets of anambra not part of beautifying the state? if peter obi claims his state does not have enough funds to deport/receive, then perhaps he should not be a governor of a state. no error was made here. i fail to see why LASG would waste taxpayer's money taking deportees to faraway anambra when they could have just dumped the destitutes in ogun or oyo! |

Texas.Cowgirl:Sorry, that's a lie. The only people that claim to be from lagos are yorubas. Igbos may claim to be from another country to facilitate easy business transaction but they definitely don't claim lagos. That is the exclusive preserve of ogun, osun, ondo, ekiti and oyo citizens. |

I'm not a citizen of any of the states involved; but going tru what I've heard, read and watched so far, I think the lagos state government will win this case if taken anywhere, even outside d shores of ds country. The government of the affected states should have sent representatives 2 evacuate their citizens as soon as they got d 1st letter 4rm Lagos state gvt. It's clear they actually did not have the interest of these so called 'desolates' at heart. These governors have failed their people by not acting promptly on ds issue. They are filling all dez complaints to cover up their asses. Taking it personal here, I'll humbly say 'Peter Obi is a failure!'. And for those supporting them, please try not 2 b bias in ur judgement.instead og blaming Lagos state gvt, blame d govts of d affected states. 1 Like |

I have not gone through this thread, but having looked at the letters published on this page, I think the problem is that the officials of the Anambra State liaison office did not bother to go to the rehab centre; they stayed in their air-conditioned offices to write and dispatch letters to the officials of the Lagos State government. I also think that the Anambra State liaison office most likely never communicated the letter to Gov Peter Obi. Going by the hatred being spewed out against Igbos on this site, it is clear that Igbos need to gradually withdraw from other parts of Nigeria. A major pogrom against Igbos is not impossible in the near future. Igbos need to cut down their excessive ambitions and accept less materialistic life, so that they could humbly retreat back to Igboland and learn to make do with whatever that is available in Igboland. This, in fact, is the most realistic way to eventually establish Biafra. Before the British came to form Nigeria, Igbos lived wholly within Igboland and made do with whatever resources that were available. Creation of Nigeria made Igbos to venture out of their native domain. That venturing out has brought a lot of calamities to Igbos. In fact, the Nigeria project is a failure. In view of this reality, Igbos should do the opposite of venturing out of their native land. The world is entering the end time and there will be a lot of trouble. Wise Igbos should not allow the coming trouble to catch them outside Igboland; it will be very bloody. |

coogar: Yeah, some Nigerians are daft and others are very unreasonable. By dumping those people by Onitsha headbridge in the dead of the night, they have really been united with their families! If the Fashola government is sincere on this issue, it should have traced those families and handed them over; probably with photos to show the "humanitarian deed". |

shymexx: the igbos make me laugh - everything in this world was designed to oppress them. fashola has been deporting destitutes to neighbouring yoruba states without hiccups. i did not see the governors of oyo, ondo and osun complain about the process and yet an irresponsible lout of a governor in anambra is throwing temper tantrums.... pato station: if peter obi was sensitive enough, he should have made proper arrangements to receive the deportees. letters had been sent since april - what arrangement did the state make? you really expect LASG to drive to 14 different LGAs and drop deportees? 1 Like |

What is this fuss about for God sake. What is this agitation about. If someone ignore you the best is to leave the person. We re just deceiving ourselves. One day will be when everyone wl bear his father's name. You people better start developing your father's land if lagos is to hard for you. Yoruba re not slave, they know what is right for them. Igbo better stop complaining and face the reality. You can make enugu, owerri, onitsha look better than lagos if you start now. Lagos is not your father's land, so go back home and develop your villages to look better cos bubble may burst soon. |
Re: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by somegirl1: 7:15pm On Aug 02, 2013 |
coogar: As has been pointed in many previous comments, some of those deported aren't even Igbo. Secondly, I see some manufactured names of places. Why should someone else bear the cost of another's error? I don't see how a non- Igbo person would want to be deported to Anambra specifically so I every much doubt that the false information was provided by the deportees. It was the duty of the Lagos government to ensure that they were deporting Anambra indigenes only to Anambra state. If any doubt existed, they were to investigate further. |
