Thanks for the kind words. As you may/may not know, I was previously a mod of multiple sections and a supermod for a brief period, so I do have a reasonable sense of what it involves. I'm unable to take on the role of being a mod for a number of reasons:

1. I don't have sufficient time to commit, as I would rather not get involved than do a shoddy job.
2. My 'disagreements' with the owner and his 'management' strategies are well documented - in summary I don't think we can work together.
3. In terms of Tunji, I don't have any issues with working with him - for example, we are both involved in TeHN without any conflict. Let's just say I call things as I see it - It doesn't go down well in all situations, but that's who I am.

No need to go on much further - if you have the time to commit and the dedication, I think you'll be an excellent candidate and you have my full support.

Very reasonable demands but sadly there is no monetary reward. But you get to see this section become great. I am very sure that a whole lot of learning is going on here and some persons are becoming very aware of their Christian calling, just by reading through various edifying posts.

I am very sure this is rewarding enough and a good reason for you to want to moderate this section.

Pastor Kun: Nice thread @Stricklymi, seems a lot of hard work as gone into putting this thread together. However i have reservations about your appraisal of me. I don't have a problems with muslims and i have a lot of muslim friends and relatives. What i detest is the extremist and terrorist amongst them. In the case of maclatunji you are right i can't get along with someone of his level of hypocrisy and intolerance. As per date i registered on NL i resgistered with my original I.D sometimes in early 2007. pastorkun is a later day moniker. Finally i would like to recommend Stricklymi for the post of moderator he seems to have all the qualities a moderator should have, he has the ability to accomodate all views and is not in any way biased in his posts.

concerning your question, yeah! It is a very interested thing to vie for the mod. Of this section, that being said, i wish to state that my interest in this forum is to defend the BIBLE whenever as much as i can and being a mod May hinder that set objective of my being here.

With that ^, i believe i have stated my peculiar circumstances why it has to be someone else as the mod.

So, back to who seems to have 'a great Interest' and have put in alot >>> Striklym .

Lol. This forum is not a 'church' as some will like to make it look, but rather, an avenue where 'all sort of person' comes to express their understanding of 'life'.

So, does this forum needs a "pastor" to operate without sentiment and favouritism ? The answer is No.

Anybody that wishes to be the mod should be ready to drop his 'personally held beliefs' while making decisions and ensure his decides are base honesty, good will and equity for the benefit of the forum.

Of very big importance is a deep good sense of humour as a mod, and i think that is something we all know those that thrives the most at that. (thinking about your football team thread" ).

I wish my views about you is not personal. But i know we dont need a bigot to be a mod here.
