Its not a simcard slot, its SD slot.

No, they do & very plentiful: from the the eclipsed FlyBooks, Sony's 11.1" subnotes to more recently, the affordable Netbooks (HP, LG, Acer, Gateway, Toshiba) to pro 17.3" workstations... Even Nokia Booklet had it complete...

Sometimes however, not all the components are present: the internal 3G/HSDPA hadrware & software...

Most small laptops dat doesnt have dvd drive normally have sim card slot

my hp mini as a sim card slot and i use it to browse directly..i make use of the hp connection manager to connect to the internet

Yes, some laptops hv sim slots (diff frm memory card reader or smart card slots). If u hv d right drivers n d module intact, it works for internet connectn.

My Hp Elitebook 6930p laptop hs d sim slot n it's one of d fascinating features dat attracted me 2 it. It saves u d cost of buyin plug in modem for internet connectn. D sim card works wt dial-up connectn.

Try set up ur dial-up connectn n connect thru it.

The sim card slot is inside the laptop, you will have to remove the battery and look at your right side you will see the sim card slot.

There are Laptops with SIM card slots Bro!....most especially mini laptops/notebooks!
