Most people got it wrong. God the Father and Jesus the Son. Jesus preaches about his Father which is God but to be intimate with God you have to be close to the Son first. Both God and Jesus can be addressed as "Lord" because the word is a simple english even it is used to address Judges in the court of law.
NOTE: The book of Psalms is refering to God.

"When Jesus was to be betrayed by Judas; he took some of his disciples with him for prayer. Bt went alone to pray to his 'Father' . Again on the cross of calvary Jesus said, "Father forgive them for they do not know what they have done"
He said it with His own mouth what else? Or do you think he's refering to a non-existing Father?

All what you put up here happened because God sent His own word into the world in person of Jesus, it's until when the word became flesh was given name inwhich God Himself approve:
*Immanuel-God with us
*Alpha & Omega-The Beginning & The End
*The Almighty God e.t.c

John said 'and the word became flesh'. Ask yourself; whose word became flesh?
