Laptop screen is arguably one of the most delicate part of the laptop, personally when it comes to cleaning a laptop screen I do not recommend using abrasive cleaners on the screen display because they can damage the LCD screen, the screen has a very delicate surface. To clean your laptop screen, follow this simple process.

1.Start the process by disconnecting the laptop from power supply, unlock the battery and slide it out from the laptop

2. Get a soft and clean cloth, use it to wipe dust off the screen

3. Dampen the cloth with water

4. Do not use an excessively wet cloth

5.Then gently wipe the LCD screen display with the wet cloth

6. Search and wipe away the fingerprint smudges that may have been imprinted on the screen. Wipe the edges and corners where dust and dirt may be lodged.

7. Be very careful, so that you don't drip water on the keyboard as you wipe the screen

8. Use a dry cloth, and dry the screen. Wipe away any moisture that may have been left by the solution.

10. After wiping the screen, allow it to dry completely

11. When you have confirmed it to be dry, then the process is complete

nonsense, no thanks. best and fast option. use a white soft clothes like singlet. put a metholeted spirit and wipe the screen it will wipe out all stain and dried off immediately. no need for rising don't and the screen will be very clear and shining like a new screen. it's far better than water. just try it and compare. goodluck.

Please don't mislead people because methylated spirit is very corrosive and can damage the screen, note that a laptop screen is very delicate and should be handled with great care. If what you said works for you, then fine but i will not advise anybody to try it. Thanks

there is nothing like corrosive, it clean out the screen and dried off immediately. water is a wrong decision which is bad for electronics. spirit is the best when it come to electronics both panels and screen. even the body of laptop use spirit. that what i am using and my laptop is shining white.
