PRAISING GOD WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE



MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!



It is well-known among most believers that there is no limit to how, where and when we can praise God! Well, just in case you weren’t aware of that, now you are! We can praise God at anytime, anywhere; irrespective of how we feel, we just go ahead and praise Him!



Today, we will examine a dimension of praise that is seldom given attention to and that is the things we can praise God with! In Psalm 103:1, David took praise a step further when He said “Bless the LORD, O my soul; AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME, BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!



First he says “O my soul” because true service and worship to God must be done with all of our heart (spirit) and with all of our mind (soul). In the second part we see that we can also praise God with what David referred to as “ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME!” You can praise God with all your body, your internal organs- all, not some, but all that is within you!



Why? It is impossible to praise God with any part of your body and have dying cells in that part of your body. When God formed man from the dust of the ground, He poured Himself into man and He came alive! This tells me that whatever God fills (inhabits) comes alive (Rom 8:11)! When you praise, God inhabits your praise. Thus, no terminal disease can be permitted into your body when all that is within you praises God! There is preservation of life and provision of divine health when we praise God with our all!



PRAYER: Everything within me glorifies the Lord therefore whatever is not of God in my life dies today in Jesus' name.
