I am amused. Buhari trying yet another trick in his very desperate move to rule Nigeria again. Pastor Bakare did not help him, Blood letting almajiris did not help, boko haram jihadists in agreement with many other northern Islamic groups (planning, plotting, ranting, raving in hausa and Arabic languages on their fb pages how to plant Buhari to islamize 9ja OR, like Buhari himself boasted, monkeys will be bloodied) waiting in line, now add the visit to the Arch Bishop of Canterbury (charity does not always begin at home). Somebody is sure teaching Buhari how to deceive the electorate, one of the traits of being a good politician in our land. Nigerians, this man is stretching himself and do you want him to deceive you further b4 you consider and accept him to be your president again? Save His Soul from this desperation! Wait a minute, this very visit can earn him the post of a UN Ambassador, it's an international move after all.

BTW, who killed General Idiagbon?

Wsdm: Is it not even ripe the Northerners supports the Separation of this country so that everyone can face their problems and stop this hate game. Hardly will you see a Southern Christian that accept a Northern Muslim for who he is. The Northern Christians are even very moderate in their ways. We in the North knows this. If not for ethnic crises between the Hausa in Kaduna and the Kaje and the Fulanis in Jos and the Birons, Muslims and Christians in the North have relatively peaceful co-existence.AT LEAST CATHOLIC AND ECWA CHURCHE the predominant churches of the Northern Christians stands exceptionally in moral degrees than the ragtags churches the Southern Christians have brought. These so called southern Christians have become cancaworm on peace between Muslims and Christians in the North. So let us support them to go away and carry their illicit lives style they tag to civilization along.
So that muslim in d north can av free hands to jihad against christainized Middle belt..let me tell u, state lyk Plateau, kogi, nassarawa, benue n katab areas of kaduna will never cedes with rest of north to form 'terrorist(islamic) state of Arewa'

shymexx:

The nucleus of China's international politics is non-interference. So I'd say China is inconsequential. The visit had more to do with economic bi-lateral ties. As long as their business isn't affected - China doesn't care about who your leader is.

The meeting Obama had with GEJ in New York, during the UN thing, is of no importance - since it was organised by lobbyists. Same with the NYSE thing. Only God knows how much Nigeria paid for the lobbying-groups to make that happen. If Obama really wanted to see GEJ, he would have invited him to the White House.

Angel Merkel and Germany are inconsequential in world politics. I don't need to remind you that Germany has been next to irrelevant in international politics since world war 2. Apart from Israel and the need for Germany to always align with whatever policy Israel chooses - Germany don't really interfere in any other country.

David Cameron has never been to Abuja. He visited Lagos when he went to Nigeria. And David Cameron is next to Obama when it comes to decision makers in world politics.

This one definitely doesn't know Shit about world politics, Cameron next to Obama in world politics? Really?

You rubbish (undermine) people who received or came to see GEJ because of ur myopic views about GEJ, well thats your business

If you think say na by money to ring NYSE bell, Abeg tell Buhari may he go ring am.... Americans no they think like you ooooo

If GEJ see the Archbishop, you go talk say na lobbyists smh

All I want to say is that a leader/president coming to see or receiving GEJ doesn't mean he is good or bad, they are after their own country's good.

Leaders visited and received Abacha, does it mean he was good. Pls stop this Shit about which leader visited GeJ

Awolowo was the issue in Nigerian Politics so said Ibrahim Banbangida! Buhari is the current issues in Nigerian politics judging by the positive and negative noises generated by the mere sneeze of this man. I am always delighted to see anger, joy, passion and hatred that come firing at all cylinders when the name Buhari comes up. Whether we like it or not, Buhari will still be the main issue in Nigerian politics in 2015 as a either a contestant or the king maker. 2015 is for the taking for North East North West and South West, including Niger and Nasarawa states. And Buhari brand is key to that. So let's keep making the positive and negative noise about this man. It makes him relevant the more! My first comment on nairaland in a very long time!

nerodenero: You cant be serious at all!
I am serious, Buhari will never smell that Seat again, if Yorubas love him and want him as their President, no problem they should declare Ooduduwa Republic and Make Buhari their President, No Yoruba and Fulani is going to smell Aso Rock for the next 100yrs.
After Christian Jonathan in 2019, a Christian Igbo or a Christian Middle will take over after their combined 16yrs, Christian Benin will take over, No Yoruba will ever be president of this country for the next 100yrs.

most of these states you have mentioned are the most divided states along ethnic line in Nigeria. The better they rope themselves to one of the proposed regions the most peaceful for them. Kogi state alone have three popular ethnic groups each fighting for superiority even thought one of the tribes is claiming lordship on the rest of them by clinging very dirty to power. This is apart from So many other tribes waiting to fight back one day. So what are we talking about!

I still don't understand the need for aspirants to take their campaigns outside the country. Why not campaign through every town and city in Nigeria or the Nigerian state as the case maybe?

The other time it was Ifeanyi Uba in South Africa now it is Buhari's turn.

Lilimax: With Buhari age, he should rather become an elderstatesman than being the president.
His wealth of experience will enable him play an advisory role to the younger politicans.

Then who are the younger politicians?
OBJ?
IBB?
BABANGAR TUKUR?
DAVID MARK?
JONAH JANG
OR......?
