lemme jus say this, If any of u ABU or any other institution's students should ever visit OAU, the 1st thing that will go through ur mind is "IS THIS A CITY?" the school leaves u gobsmacked! no exaggeration.. the road network(+traffic lights lol) , the centralised Library(the biggest in Nigeria if not sub Saharan Africa) the structures, the always mown green grasses etc. It's a wonderful place

ABU's Kashim Ibrahim Library is actually the biggest. Don't take it from me, do a little research yourself.

l was a student of oau and l later joined the service of the university. without sentiment the university is a beautiful place. these pictures are even old, the new buildings, l means those under construction and the completed ones like the ICT centre the best in west Africa, the natural history museum , the jimoh Ibrahim postgraduate college' the new central market, the new sport complex and many more like that. oau is beautiful.

Why are you guys arguing over the beauty of one school over the other? Having checked the pics of both schools, i'd say both schools are well planned and very beautiful.
OAU has got better architectural touch than ABU but when it comes to neatness and green serene environment i 'll give it to ABU, the school environment is aesthically pleasing.
In terms of Academic standard, these two schools stand out so, why the fuss? Though, OAU is better sha. For me UI is still the best school in nigeria,i went to Abadina college and this gave me opportunity to meet ui undergraduates, believe me these guys are cool, humble and very brilliant. You hardly see 'em bantering word over irrelevant issues, i respect 'em so much. N.B. I'm a student of unimaid oo, so, what should we do, when you guys are arguing over which school is more beautiful (abeg no put us for thinking mode oo).. I think you guys are just too happy with your school that's why you are arguing.. Lols. When OOU go upload their pics oo#winks. #runs out of thread

why not show us AWO HAL AND IVA VALLEY OR OLD BUKA AND THE QUARTERS ESPECIALLY THE CONFERNCE CENTRE AND THE HOTEL ON CAMPUS.LAST TIME I TRIED TO GET INTO I COULDNT SEEE THE MAIN GATE WHERE IT WAS BEFORE.let us know of any paid accommodation directly on campus.pls.
