alpha.w.g:look at it the other way round... If every beer drinker repents, the bars will be forced to close down. That's what the pastor is driving at. #thechristianway |

Churches shd limit their activities within the four walls of their churches and assist the society with their prayers if need be.attempting to shut down beer parlours is tantamount to usurping the duty of the govt.as if crimes are not comitted in the churches and by the so called pastors. |

Pastor Kun: The Pastor Oseni must have been drunk when he made that statement. He should first repent from the tithe fraud perpetuated in his church before he thinks of ridding Lagos of criminals. |

ayooluniran: I'm really sad right now because people don't understand what christianity is all about.....first, the pastor didn't mean physical confrontation, he meant evangelizing to and praying for people that drink in dat area.....this is for non-christians to know. The Second thing I'd like to say is to christians only, because non-christians cannot understand..... of a truth I personally can't point out a place in d bible where humans are clearly not asked to drink wine...however, the bible says there must be a distinction between a christian and people of d world....how would you feel if u heard pastor adeboye drinking....anything you do as a christian that makes people doubt if u are truly a child of God should be done away with. The word Christian means 'like christ'. Christ never drank wine, infact all nazarenes and prophets in d bible didn't drink wine. Paul permitted timothy to drink just a little wine because of d ulcer he had.Likes! Bless you dear 1 Like |

Shut up your mouth. What have you gained siting in the Church for 3-6 hours worshiping "God"? Name 1 REALISTIC thing you've gained. Rather you loose your money to the man of God and his croony general overseers. You should spend more time in your workplace planning and strategizing on what next to do with your time. 1 Like |

obyrich: It's either you are a pastor or a liar. I know uncountable people who rose from grass to grace without paying tithes. Tithe is never a condition for God to bless people. The Malachi passage you and your ilks quote does not refer to christians. Christ was a high priest in the order of Melchizedek yet he did not collect tithe from anybody. Then why do you christians who claim to follow christ's footsteps deem it fit to collect what your master did not take? Remember Gehazi, Naaman and Elisha. Stay away from deceit. No problem bro. I'm not a pastor and everything I said earlier is d truth....but I try to stick to the ordinances of God. In actual fact I dread being a pastor...it's practically impossible to manage humans without God's help......isrealites showed moses pepper.....all I can say is this.......if on your dieing bed your heart assures u dat not paying tithes will not prevent u from entering heaven, then congrats...keep eating ur tithe...there is good success and shaky success....maybe I'll visit u with my wife and Kids in years to come to see how u're faring......I'd like to write a book and use u as an example of why people should not pay tithes |

Most of you commenting just lack d knowledge of d word of GOD. Going to church does not make you a Christian or a child of GOD. When Jesus turned water to Wine, did you see or heard any that partake of the wine got drunk and fell into gulter or stagger! If you are matured enough you should know that anything that has a clause to it is dangerous. Why will d manufacturer says not for sale to Under 18? You drink and forget youself, misbehave, put aside a major project until further notice. When we you wise up? No wonder the Bible says, the prince of this world have blinded their eyes. If you like take 100 bottles, not everybody will make Heaven, so if you made up your mind not to bro, Hell is also available. Takia |

If you like take 100 bottles, not everybody will make Heaven, so if you made up your mind not to bro, Hell is also available. Takia Christians stop living in self-denial. Wine in the bible means alcohol. * Gen. 9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. * Gen. 19:32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. * John 2:1-11 Jesus Changes Water Into Wine * Prov. 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. * Prov. 21:17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich. * Is. 24:9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. Do you think Jesus did not drink of the wine when he changed the water to wine? It's not orange juice, it was wine (Ogogoro, Beer, Hennessy, Brandy, Moet). You name it, Jesus and his disciples drank wine many times and i am sure they didn't stick to one brand. |

Pls tell this ppl that the prevalence of high crime rate in nigeria cannot be address by persuasion alone but rather a clear representation of the goverment in ensuring a workable system. Can't they understand the nation is sick? Poverty is on the high side which makes everyone still alive to struggle for survival at every opportunity available(survival of the fittest). Parents can no longer curtail the excesses of their wards because they can't measure up to their responsibility of meeting the family's demands. Several young girls out there have retorted to prostitution not to get rich but for a survival. You need to go out there and see to it that people are suffering due to massive unemployment. The revival the country need at hand is nothing but a revolution so that the voice of the ruled can be aired. Crime can only be reduced to the barest minimum when poverty is less transient |
