Guys abeg make una help me, i was using nokia 3300 before and i browsed with mtn gprs but now i've got a new phone which is wap enabled but my gprs logo won't(selected option- always on) but yesterday when i changed it into two different nokia phones i saw my gprs logo back. When i returned it to my phone na the same story ooo.

Nokia 3250 that wont power on it's own except u plug the charger first n thn power it any suggestions?

guys please help out i hav a nokia 6300 but cant seem to get opera mini , nimbuzz, ebuddy or any java app to do with the internet to connect. i browse fine with it with the default browser but not with opera. (im not even worried about the @ trick which i also cant seem to do with my opera mini on my sony ericcsson which works with opera mini with my credit) i just wanna at least hav the opera work on the phone.

tomaagy, first thing you should do is try another battery . . .but I'd say there's probably been an open circuit somwhere between the vbb main & the power chip . .but try another battery & lets know if it still the same old story

THanks but i have another battery n the story is the same on both battery it's even behaving funny now pls where could d open circuit be can u describe it? I also have some engineerin skills myself just dont really have exp wit phones. thanks

tomaagy, kindly define "behaving funny" . . . .as regards where exactly the problem lies, I cant give a definite point but there're 2 ways to determine it, tracing with the circuit diagram & random checking. . . I dnt think its d k1nda problem u can handle, .giv it to d nearest c0nfident tech & pls report back here so we'd knw if its d0ne or n0t. . So any nairaland tech nearest to u may take over

Jtlyrics, immediately you read dis msg bro, switch off your phone then switch it on the same way u do when u change sims but dont remove ur sim. . Just switch off, remove battery, re-insert battery & switch on. . . . .
Does it behave the same way just as it does when you switch sims?? bTw does ur f0ne use power switch or button?? Which one?


xothermic, create a new mtn access point for your applications in your configuration setting. . . . . Go to personal configuration. . .click options. . .Add new. , Access point. . Then create the access point with mtn's apn. . .i.e web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net

then make that access point your default. . .also go to you 'application access' setting & set all the options to "ask once"
