The Song of Songs is one of my favorite books of the bible....shows how delicious committed love can be.

May everyone who posts and reads this thread have a love for his/her partner that is like the love in the Song of Songs which is Solomon's.

I love the imagery in that poem.

Anywayz I cant convert to judaism.

Bill and Gloria Gaither have written hundreds of beautiful Gospel songs over the years. Many churches today still sing their songs. Both were former English teachers before they started singing and writing songs full time.

In the late 1960s, while expecting their third child, Bill and Gloria Gaither were going through a rather traumatic time in their lives. Bill was recovering his strength from a bout with mononucleosis. They, along with their church, were the objects of accusation and belittlement.Heresy was spreading like wild fire during this time and Gloria was experiencing a time of torment, including fear of the future and of bringing children into such a crazy, mixed-up world.

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus name
