So with my series of quizzes that will be coming up, I want to show that in automotive scene, it's not always what it seems.

I have never been to any AutoX track that the shifter Karts (not the more common go carts) weren't the fastest and typically by a wide margin. It's something to be seen.

Have you watched a Dog chase a Rabbit? Of course the Dog on an outright straight line will have a Rabbit lunch any day but if you notice that the Rabbit usually gets away by quick agile moves that simply leaves the Dog unable to match the quick turns and agility of the Rabbit. This is the Kart.

The Ferrari, Porsche, etc have humungous brakes for a purpose, so that they can haul in the speeds. Well on a Kart you hardly ever touch the brakes, the scorning speed can never be matched by the bigger cars.

I don't sell cars in the same manner as a dealer. I buy cars, nurture them back to a glorious state deserving an elder, drive them for a while and give them up for adoption.

If you find cars within 100 miles radius of California ZipCode 91016, I can check out up to 3 of them for you, verify the condition and deliver it to an Igbo shipper who will ship it inside of a sealed container to Lagos for $2K. I charge $500 for that fee (not everyone will qualify since I'm very selective as I don't want nothing less than 100% satisfactory record).

the Accord coupe '03 v6 pulled faster than the e90 330i on the Nurburgring, 8:40.1 and 8:44.6 respectively, the closest I got was 8:41.1 and 8:41.6,the former e90, on a back to back test, this was on PS2. I don't think this would happen in reality...(digression from topic)

On my bucket list is to drive on the 'ring.

I'll do an European delivery of an M5 in the future and take her on the course. One of my friends did that in his prepared Austin Mini Cooper.

that's one of the most challenging tracks in the world, driving an M5 on the 'ring could be suicidal. That car is pretty fast for a full size sedan

Oh I won't be trying to set a record

Just a leisurely drive so that I can tick that off of the list as being done.

The days of my barnstorming are done. I still buy performance cars and bikes not to speed necessarily but just for personal satisfaction.
