Hi folks,i ask this question if churches should help members who are in serious need of financial help for medical matters.I say medical matters because if it's just a case of those who need money,we all need money.But how would you feel if you attend a church,have served and worshipped at that church for years,payed your tithes regularly etc,then you need an operation to stop you from going blind or maybe even anything else that has a drastic effect on your life,and the church leader says to you,here my son/daughter,take this anointing oil and apply it onto your eyes which medical experts have said you will lose without an operation?
What is the point if you attend a church which is a community for all it's members anyway,and when you are badly in need of help,which you know the church is capable of,they refuse you help.Where does all that money taken in donations and tithes go?Does it only have to be a Pastors salary?Or only to pay the Pastors rent and upkeep?Should it be used for church members that badly need help too?
What makes this issue more interesting is the fact that the person in need this time was a Pastor as well.
