Guys as a Dog lover I have see all sorts in Nigeria been called Pure Breed and there are absolutely no standards so it occurred to me to reach out to others like me who interpret "Woof" into human languages.

Please does anyone know if there are kernel clubs in Nigeria and is anyone interested in joining me to build up one.

A LOT of research need to be done and a LOT of standards set. It's not gonna be easy but its a good idea. An example of research and standards is getting to differentiate our own local breeds. What makes the nigerian bingo different from the Ghanaian one n stuff like that.

I agree totally with u on the amount of work that is we need to start something before all our local dogs become crossed breeds

My vet is a crook. He has helped me bought over 3 good dogs now avoiding me when I asked for the genealogy of a beautiful dog he got for me five months ago.I have an inkling Tue guy reaped me hard on their prices and he's afraid I'll find out so he's scared. The guy is my former church member. I' be forgiven him but I want things done right now. I want them all databased. I lives in Ibadan, Oyo state and my number is 08099374499. Your mission statement is different from his own.
He is concerned with proper cross breeding the right species together and not mix breeding any different kinds of dog and getting unidentified puppies while you are concerned with promoting a healthy lifestyle for our dogs and owner by adopting the habit of walking your dog.

Of course I understand our mission statements are different, i stated that myself didnt I?
Did you take it upon yourself to see if there are groups or a canine club and what they stand for?
