1. it is never a sin to query the bible it makes you search deeper and that gets you better understanding.
2. there are no contradictions in the bible and that's why we have to be sensibly critical and prayerfully diligent in reading it. what you term as contradictory will be simply explained with clear understanding by another person.
3. to interpret the bible & understand it, you need to be able to look at one verse in the light of the other passages. interpret the bible with the bible.
4. Most importantly, you need the HOLY SPIRIT to inspire you and to enlighten your spiritual eyes to see & to understand. Shalom

Is dere really anytin in dis our Universe dat can't b Questioned! Absolutely nt, so Frosbel it's nt a sin at all. Infact go on wit ur research.
