A christain mom or dad has a lot of material to teach his child morals.there are examples in d bible that teach young child and even teenager to guide against such things as lying,stealing,jealousy and greed.
now when an atheist parent wants to teach his child these things on what basis are they taught?
a child when he or she is told that such behaviour makes the God who loves him sad and other people sad the child may refrain.
so to the atheist,what do you use or will you use to teach your children

There is nothing moral about the bible and quran. Those 2 religious books are filled with violence, killing of people and slavery. You don't need a book to instill discipline and moral on your kids. There are also good philosophical books on moral that teaches about morals and ethics. You don't have to be a religious person to have a high standard of morals. Look at people like Fela, Tia Solarin and Soyinka they are men with better morals than most of our so called pastors and imams

its a simple thing, do to others what you want others to do to you. if you are slapped or stolen from, its not God that gets hurt, it is YOU!
do you think an atheist does not feel hurt when someone cheats him or when he is being lied to?
