This dude in my school then, a level lower than me but same department, so damn fine with a girly kinda mannerisms, with a damn good body. I was literally head over heels. Normally an effeminate guy has a veeeryy high chance of being gay. But this was different. I started studying him kinda..till we finally became good friends. I found out he isn't gay sha, and that was really mind-blowing. The feelings subsided immediately, but I was nonetheless still surprised thatn a somewhat effeminate guy could still be straight. Rare I guess.

Asides that, I can tell if a guy is gay most times, especially if I'm interested in the person. If I'm not, then I might as well not know or care whether he's gay or not, except he opens up to me. That's why I said I have no reason to tag the OP's friend as gay, unless the Op supplies more details about him and his mannerisms.

Wow!!! I feel bad for the stuff gay people go through especially as teenagers, those are the hard years for everyone but the added stress that you are so different must have been hell.
That is why I know you/gays were born that way because nobody would choose to go through that self torment and depression.

Yea you might be right about him not wanting to come out yet, dunno. As young teenagers though, once the realisation dawned on us that we're different as regards our feelings, most gay guys end up going deeper into themselves, with many seeking spiritual help on their own, ending up in self-hate and all sorts...till we finally realise that there's just nothing you can do. Just saying in general.

About my name. Lol. The short story is that Mason was a crush in secondary school. He had just come in for the holiday classes we were having in preparation for our WAEC... ended up being friends... and ended up crushing on him badly. Of course there was nothing I could do.
