He Can't Speak In Public, Could It Be A Jinn Attack? by Nobody: 11:21am On Dec 26, 2014
Asalam alaiykum Waramatullahi
Please I need a solution t the challenge I’m about to share.
It’s about a Muslim brother who doubles as a friend of mine.
He has complained to me about speech impairment, fear of public speaking and shyness.
The latter I agree is expected of a Muslim.
In our school days, he was very quiet and shy (could this have lead to a public speaking problem).
However, speech impairment and public speaking are both foreign to me.
The problem is both worrying as well as embarrassing.
He can hardly express himself boldly in the workplace, at meetings and in front of superior officers which is a strong expectation at his level in the office.
This challenge could affect his appraisal, which could in turn stall his chances of promotion in the office.
I have heard of different Quranic verses that could help fight the effects of Jinn and the like.
Please can you suggest verses of the Quran to help tackle this?

Your friend has no problem, it is perfectly normal. Some people are like that. It is about building self confidence and getting used to public speaking.

Let him volunteer for public speaking as much as he can. The more, he does it, the better he becomes.

Yes tbaba have said it all. He shouldn't have a mindset that Jinn are in control. He need to take boldness to practice this. Believe in yourself you can do this. Look at yourself in mirror and say, yes I can. I will face the crowd and talk. I will face my colleagues, bosses and the likes. Again, you should believe every orator even Obama and me has pass through the same experience. It might be when they are young or even older. If they can do it, then I can too.

Lastly, have the fear of Allah in your heart. Strengthen your heart with reflections of his miracle(Qur'an), doing good deeds and ask yourself, what you intend doing is a righteous deed right? Why withholding! Do it for Allah sake? Be bold and confident. Face that crowd, your colleagues or bosses and say what you intend saying. Allah will reward your actions. The more you practice it, the more your confidence get strengthen. May Allah make it easy for the brother.
