crap is a summary,, of the explanations you want, i guess.

I am sure if you take another look at it, and criticize it
yourself, you will be fine, or finer.

I criticise my works always, so it is done before anybody
else sees it. But i learnt to always have people in mind - asides
my boss and or my client - while I work. Cos atimes, i get
scared my client might approve an imperfect thing, THAT THE WHOLE
WORLD IS GOING TO SEE!!! So since i learnt that, I ve never had
a bad critic. Suprisingly, I am a little uncomfortable with that.

Ey man, you guys should just drop this issue. Nobody has an idea how the name came about. What if it was part of a childhood dream? Something the owner has worked all his life to achieve. Should he change the name just because of some selfish opinions? Ok what name would you give the joint that would satisfy everyone on Nairaland? That's right - NONE!!!

My Kemjisuper label first started as a joke from friends back at school! But I know someday I'll have my very own Kemjisuper Xtreme Studios competing with the likes of Dreamworks, Pixar and others in 3d animation. That's a dream!

So pls, "Dream Killers" respect the name NUUDLZ ZTATION. These kinds of comments would have been necessary if the owner was trying to choose a suitable business name. Since we met him at the Logo design stage, nobody has a say in what's past!

I wasn't referring to you alone in particular when I said "Dream Killers" (no offence, you're still included sha). I was talking about the whole bunch who won't let a bygone matter be bygone and are crying over spilt milk! Meaning the best time to criticize a design or a brand name is during the period when it is open to scrutiny. I remember how Boomtowner pleaded and pleaded for more entries to give him a wider variety to choose from and very few took it seriously. I actually was looking for some really good entries to up the competition too!

Suddenly, everyone now has something to say concerning the whole brand just because one of the entries actually won it (including those who have sworn not to eat at that joint )! We have to wake up our creative minds here and put to sleep the destructive ones who won't support progress.

That's all!

Enough of this issue already. I believe we all have had some lesson to learn from this thread.

nice concept. u've always representedus well. No matter how much muna may like to brag, he still has a lot to learn from u. People like INSIGHT and LOWE LINTAS should be seriously looking for u.

I love the overall profile of ur logo. It depicts a chinese (south asian theme), which goes well with nuudlz (noodles) which is a south asian (chinese) delicacy.

However I feel a slight modification should be made to the nuudlz ztation font on the logo. The font is too 'Anglo'; it should tend towards more of chinese.

If ur pick is nuudlz ztation as a chinese (oriental) restaurant/fast food, then i think kemji's masterpiece would make it tick.

Wow! Another colleague of mine on Nairaland? Tis really a small world you know! Yeah, I remember the EEE Yearbook, still have my copy to this very day. Comes in handy when I feel like contacting any of our old school pals. And whoa, I remember the criticism we faced during the project (including those who said we were scheming to con them out of their money and graduate into thin air) May God forgive their souls. Anyways, we didn't give up on the project, and many of us are glad for that too. It's all about doing something to make as many people happy, that's all.

Anyways, seems you've been long on Nairaland. Welsome to the Graphics Section anyways.

srry.i had to reopen this case.but Kemjisuper.no offence intended, and same goes to your client, but i agree with gamine on dis logo, maybe nt crappy.but a lot of element rearrangement needs to be done, lik for example the bevel emboss thing in dis design didnt workat all, very goodwork on the color scheme but design elements need to b rearranged and redesigned, i'll advise u use strokes nxt time instead of bevel emboss.coz dats where dstrenght of this design is,

Then anoda thing i want tobring you2 the fact that when u'r designing u shld look more at aninternational brand than just seeing it as a naija thing .Then bring in the fact that dis logo is for a food brand, and so the logo is meant to b inviting and warm, Lets look beyond naija, work towards the international scene coz sumtims thats wots killn the world of cg in nigeria, mst cg artist just dobasic modelln nd think they av arrivd, well am happy for you, u got dc 100dollars but , buttruthfully i kno asmuch as the client claims to av been branding am sure if he were more enlightened , u would av donemore work on the logo, Just a piece of miind, though, cheers mate.
