First, even Buhari knows that APC would never win Rivers state. The Riverians did not even vote against APC or Peterside. They voted against Amaechi. What they did was just a revenge voting. Amaechi is seen as one who betrayed the hopes of the SS presidency for his selfish reasons.

Hold the election 20 times and let even Buhari be the returning officer while Peterside is the REC, Rivers people will still vote against APC. In fact, remove PDP from the contesting board and let it be only APC and a new party with someone from an unknown clan. That person will win Amaechi's APC hands down.

You peeps have been repeating this same thing all day but you have not answered the real question. If PDP knows what you have written, why did they go to the length they went to to rig. Are you saying you are not aware that even international observers including the US embassy who have no vested interest in the result of Rivers election have come out to say that the election was seriously marred. If PDP is so sure of victory why not make the election free and fair in the eyes of the whole world. PDP winning is not d problem but d process itself.

Apc/Tinubu plan to take over the oil seat in the Niger Delta has failed woefully. Akwa Ibom....Delta....Bayelsa....and Rivers... Still and would always remain a Pdp controlled state.

Then vote for PDP if you want them. STOP the massive intimidation, killings and rigging. Allow people to vote normally. STOP allocating results. The truth is PDP is drowning so fighting to hold onto anything. Even air. Mtcheeeeeeew lol PDP cannot win any free and fair elections in Nigeria

so if Wike rigged, what will all these poverty-stricken fellows do? Nothing! Whether he rigged or not, he is the choice of the pple! No one wants APC in Rivers 'cause Amaechi has been messing Rivers State up, no good infrastructures and development contrary to what we had expected of him. He has been busy fighting GEJ and funding APC with the state's allocation. Sadly, most of you here have never been to SS/SE let alone Rivers State, I grew up in PH, and still visit there very often. So anyone coming from Amaechi will surely crash in Rivers! WIKE my man, GEJ my HERO! Pple opposed to this and haters can die, I don't care! Pile of shit! #proudly Akwa Ibomite#

My people why must APC always be abusive and violent when they loss any election. They never congratulate the winner or show any atom of sportmanship.

Is this the change they offer to us, anyway that's their nature as Buhari never concede nor accept defect before now.
You e-rats keep making mistakes. The Genesis of accepting defeat started from kayode fayemi. Not from the clueless one who could v ended like gbagbo if he had acted contrary.

False assertion man..america has massive interest in the niger delta, rivers inclusive...the oil giant exxon mobil is a wholly american company same with so many other companies operating in the niger delta...that aside..it is foolhardy for anyone to think APC will win rivers state election...never...conduct the elections a million times...pdp will still win..we are too tribalistic and sentimental in this country..

amaechi is viewed as a betrayer by his people..i think he should just lay low and follow buhari to abuja and leave rivers state alone pending when wike calls him to come and answer to the huge financial crimes he committed against the rivers people.

Well, if the Rivers people really thought through it, they would have considered the options before them.

Peaceful men - Dakuku or Tonye (My personal preference) or
A tout - Wike

Instead, they took it as a fight between Amaechi and Wike. It was not. Amaechi had already delivered Nigeria for the APC. he was the DG of the campaign. he was already fulfilled at the national stage - PROMOTION!! cool cool cool cool cool

but they still thought voting a THUG to spite a THUG would be the wise decision. . . grin grin grin grin grin

Just wait and see. Snap this comment. In a few months, the REALITY will HIT!!! grin grin grin

That isn't going to happen. Unless if Buhari hands off and doesn't get involved, Wike will never prosecute Amaechi successfully. Usually cases of misappropriation of funds like that are handled by Efcc and we all know Efcc is under a federal agency. Didn't you see what happened with FFK? FFK was being prosecuted by efcc before he decamped to PDP. Immediately he joined Jonathan's team he suddenly started attending court hearings with official security escort. His case will surely soon be thrown out.
Besides, how many people has efcc or icpc successfully prosecuted? Bode George's conviction was overturned by the supreme court. Dimeji bankole and many others had their cases thrown out. My point is, even if Wike remains governor, since APC is in control at d centre I can't see him prosecuting Amaechi successfully.

He must be kidding himself if he thinks that sham of an election would stand. I won't be surprised at all if the election in Rivers is cancelled by the court. All the local and international observers have come out to say that the elections in Rivers did not meet the minimum standard of conducting elections anywhere.

All Patience jonathan and the crook of a Rec have done is ensure that Wike is sworn in on May 29, but they won't keep him there forever. By the time the case gets to court, Jonathan and his wife would be out of power. Wike will soon experience what Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the likes experienced. Rigging can only get you into the post temporarily, it wont keep you there.

So he has to recover his funds as soon as possible, I weep for the coffers of rivers state.

PDP rose from G34 spearheaded by Alex Ekwueme from Igbo. PDP was not formed by northerners. In fact, APC is now mainly a party for the northerners with fewer Yorubas in it.

Amaechi and Okorocha are complete strangers being used in APC to achieve an aim..
