@ coolsimon, Atiku na woman, abi u wan become gay? on topic - OBJ cannot muster the assembly to impeach him. He is at the 'lame-duck' stage of his presidency and will mostly be ignored. |

can't you all smell the evil deed of this people how atiku exposed OBJ over the third term agenda, which OBJ has strategiesed already, he has removed the former senate president who don' wanna cooprate with him, but when atiku expose him just for his own greedy intention of being the next pres,he doesnot want to be the vp the third term.as bakare said hes said they will expose themself, that OBJ and ATIKU and IBB will send themselves to jail, we shld be thankng God for the commotion between 2 fake leader who have ruled us for 8 years.thank God time is up,God want to change the ppl for good e.g mr holy fayose who was a criminal saying he is a guru, but he is expose let see how he becomes the governor again and all the other fakes is either they go to prison or die. |

@ joshO, Iyke-D and all those OBJ apologists. Please acquaint yourselves with what is going on at the presidency through this link. Do not say you are not told of the sins of OBJ. http://www.vanguardngr.com/articles/2002/editorial/ed11092006.html Also on the topic of discussion if you want to read other people's opinion about the double-standard of the president and the improper way the EFCC is being used to wage the war on corruption, check this link: http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/news/article07 |

OBJ is corrupt. Atiku is corrupt IBB is corrupt National House of assembly members are corrupt 36 state governors corrupt the list goes on and on But in my own opinion OBJ should use his own selfish interest to impeach Atiku because atiku is more corrupt. He shoulld also use It to bring IBB to justice because he is not above the law. He should use it against all his opponents who are against his third term now provided there is enough evidence to prove they are corrupt. After he has used the EFCC to track down almost all his corrupt opposition, It will be his own turn to face that same EFCC but if we say he should stop going after these guys, there will be too much corrupt people in the system and they will continue to cripple our great nation Nigeria. For me Atiku is corrupt He should be Punnished. As for OBJ lets leave him there for he will help us bring other corrupt leaders to justice |

I'm not an OBJ apologist. Neither am I sympathetic to Atiku. They are both birds of same feather, of which Atiku is probarbly worse. A thief is a thief and whatever means is applied in removing Atiku and the likes of him from the picture is welcome. The issue with Nigeria is mindset, and that goes beyond Atiku, OBJ and IBB. It's only in Nigeria that a thief is rewarded with chieftaincy titles and revered like Atiku, IBB etc are. This is manipulation de'tre, posible because mainstream mindset is steeped in slave experience and a throwback to colonial era. I challenge Nigerians to think out of the box. The ongoing battle is a welcome development for which the masses should benefit. If Atiku and all the opportunistic felons in the ACD fail in their attempt to grab Nigeria by the neck, then that will be good. Putting this in a simplistic form, no one complains whenever the police aprehend armed robbers or 'take them out', even when other prowl the streets, it's always a case of one less villain to worry about. Victimization or not, let this war on curruption gain momemtun. OBJ himself will sooner or later, face up the crushing impact of the same crusade. Let's stop making excuses for thieves please. |

Abeem, If we follow your thinking then we might as well disband EFCC, the police force, the courts, etc. because the honest truth is that if you look deeply enough, some members of the EFCC, the police force for sure, and most of our judges are corrupt or have committed corrupt acts. Whats the use of having them? Even in the US, they is a strong consensus that the Bush Admin is corrupt (abuse of office). Has that completely stopped the FBI, FCC, the justice department, etc. from doing their work? Of course most of the guys close to the seat of power are still untouched. Nigeria may not be as close or transparent in fighting corruption as the US, but that does not mean that even in the USA every criminal or corrupt officials gets their fair shake equally EVERY time. Even, here people cut deals left and right with the government in order to save their skin and spill the beans on the government's target, it does not change the fact that they committed the offense they are being held for. Like I said, let OBJ go after Atiku, then zero in on IBB, and when he leaves office, let the new person pick from where OBJ stopped by resuming with OBJ himself. Nigeria somehow has to break this choke of corruption and invisibility. Who would have thought, anyone in Nigeria will have dared to pick IBB's son for questioning Certainly not in my dreams. We need this type of distrust and checkmating among the power brokers. If they cannibalize themselves in the process so be it. Again, what we should be concerned about is that no one is being FRAMED. |

THOSE WHO ABUSE HUMBLENESS,LOYALTY AND PATIENCES ARE ALL THIEVES. OBASANJO IS ONE OF THEM.HE IS A SELFISH PRESIDENT WHO WANTS TO DICTATE WHO WE WILL VOTE FOR 2007.HE HAS MESSED THIS COUNTRY BY USING THE EFCC IN WRONG WAY TO ACHIEVE HIS INTEREST.THE MORE HE FIGHTS HIS LOYALIST,THE MORE THE YOUTH SUFFER.YOU CAN BEAR ME WITNESS THAT THE COUNTRY IS EVEN WORSE AS IT IS DURING THE MILITARY REGIME.WHERE IS THE CHANGES DESPITE ALL HIS DOINGS.WELL I PRAY THAT GOD INTERVENE ONTIME BECAUSE OBJ IS JUST DOING HIS YORUBA THING(SELFISH THING).IF OBJ IS TRUELY TRANSPARENT LET HIM ALLOW THEM TO PROSECUTE HIM FOR HIS WRONG DOINGS AS HIS STILL IN POWER AND NOT TO BE PROBE AFTER HIS TENURE.LASTLY, I WISH ATIKU ALL THE BEST AS HUMBLE PEOPLE SUFFER BEFORE THEY BECOME KNOWN PUBLICALLY. My question is : why this investigation now, after Obj didn't make his 3rd dream become reality? Would he make the same move if this VP had backed him ? To my understanding OBJ has sinned twice : First for knowlingly hiding the fact ( if there is really a fact ) his VP was guilty of wrondoing 2nd for making a vindicative biased law enforcement. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/5335992.stm |

People need to stay abreast with the news and don't just come here and open your basket mouth OBJ did not start the process. FBI linked ATIKU to Jefferson and that prompt for investigation and In Shah Allah ATIKU is a criminal in disguise. |

Obj,the big fat cat on the loose, chasing 36 mice and one small kitten,I like the drama because he is only helping Atiku's case, now everyone knows Atiku,do you think the northerns will betray their own kin for a yoruba man,I am not sure you know,Since Obj has sold his soul to the devil and the cult he belongs, let's see how long this will go on,anyone that rising up against him,he sets his legion of demons EFCC against the person, please do not forget Idi Amin and Mallam Mugu, just for the record,Ribadu is also Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. |

A clear case of two thieves falling out over sharing of looted booty so Atiku cannot be pities or said to be the victim here. rather he is a victim of Nigerias powerplays and too bad for him, he seems to on the losing side. |
Re: VP Atiku To Be Impeached? by donjazzie(m): 6:22pm On Sep 12, 2006 |
obj is behind the impeachement move against turaki.obviously because of the failed third term agenda which atiku fought against vehemently.but for obj to say he want's atiku impeached for corruption i just think it's a case of keetle call the the pot black.u guys needed to see how obj's guys were throwin money around for pro third term lawmakers during the third term riddle.now he wants to impeached atiku.does he not kno dat he has impeachable offences against him.that oldman must have sumtin derailing his thinkin |
