It all stared in ss1 wen dis girl asked me out.I was very happy on dat very day bt i wasn't interested in datn any1 in my secondary skul dayz.I left d skul dat same yr and we could nt see ourselves for 2yrs.wen i finished my ssce exams,i felt like seeing her nd i went 2 her aos.she welcomed me nd i was happy abt dis.we exchanged nos nd we kept in touch.i later fell in love with her.i told her dis nd asked her out bt she said "NO".I ask her consequently bt she stands by her word.last valentines day,i spent alot on buyn her a gift.Its been 2yrs now which startd askn her out nd i still can't 4get dis girl.she talks on phone as if she really likes me bt wen i ask her,she keep sayn NO.She is currently runing a PD programme @ OAU.wen i was admitted into a University,she told me dat i would see more beautiful girls in skul nd then i would see dat d feelns i av 4her is not "LOVE".she was wrong.i kept thinking of her nd couldn't do without calln her a day."THE THOUGHT OF HER KEEPS ROLLING INTO MY MIND".Abt 2weeks ago,i wanted to tell her some things.b4 i can b able 2 tell her,she has 2 answer some ? I then asked her if she feels anything 4 me and she said this:"YEAH".i asked her wat she feels nd she said:"feelings of friendship, Do u know u r my best frnd?"i then told her alot of things after which i was shocked at wat she said.she said"am not yet convinced that u really love me.maybe if u prove it".pls help me fellow nairalanders.

Bros, i don't think you have much to worry. she's talking to you, and says u guys are friends. Maybe she is not one of those that like to signal the start of relationship like its a football match.

So my advice is remain friends with her. Call her regularly, send her gifts when u can. Try to do all those things you would normally do to your girl friend and i believe in no time she would start to reciprocate. My then you would not need to be told that she has agreed.
