My church just started asking those with their tithe to step out, this is a church I have being attending for over five years, though different branches. And I know the pastor is watching those like me that have never stepped out, I am just waiting for him to ask me one day, make me give am my own version of tithing.

True my brother. Where I fellowship we pay tithe and as the treasurer 100% goes to the conference Instead of the church retaining the money and spending it on the poor in our street. As for me Instead of giving my money to be used to feed pastors who are supposed to be feeding themselves like the Apostles I had rather find a Good message online and make tracts of it to distribute to people.

In the days of the early Christians, they were quite few of them and they usually fellowshipped in a room. But a time cane when they were multiplied. Of course, using that 'room' was out of the question. Moving to a larger place was the next step.
It ever occurred to you that people donated things in those days to make Christianity get to us?
Likewise, we must do all we can to get it going.

Aside from that, we are to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.... Romans 12:2

A large percentage of God's people are confused. We reason too much. Causing our mind to revolve around a situation, issue, attempting to understand all its intricate component parts. We are reasoning when we dissect a teaching to see if it is logical and disregard it if is not. The Lord may direct us to do a certain thing, but if it is sensible - it isn't logical we may be tempted to disregard it.
This isn't saying be gullible. No! But with the help of the Spirit of truth, you'll be able to discern the will of God. Or what He says in a situation.

Giving has become such a topic of debate in our age.
Hear this: If you're not compelled in your spirit. To give anything! Then don't!
Don't give and start complaining. And if you're not giving, then don't think the people giving stupid!!

Good. There are different kinds of offerings my dear. A lot of them. That you give to the church doesn't mean you shouldn't hive to the needy and vice versa. You give as you are led by the Spirit and not as you're urged by your pastor and all. Giving should be a thing between you and God.
And the apostle Paul didn't always feed himself dear. The church sent and ministered to his needs. That doesn't make him lazy. Its written.
Remember this: "He that gives to a prophet receives the prophet's rewards".

If you don't give to him, no, even if no one gives anything to a real man of God, his Father is more than able to provide for him.

One should be happy that he's a vessel used to bless others, irrespective of title!

I understand you perfectly well yet you seems to be speaking on Gifts. Giving something to someone is a gift but being fed on the tithe and offerings of the saints is a No in the early church. Read my writings again and understand things

What. happened to the three thousand won? what about the testimony of the Spirit in Acts 6:1? The early church were in number multiplied daily.
Giving is not the problem what is used for is the problem. We are saying it should be used for it's purpose which is helping the poor and promoting the Gospel. If this is done The world will .be conquered for God
