@Lalaboi

I wonder too o . . . we're talking 'bout lines which are crappy from the word go . . . immediately you see/hear them, you need no interpreter to tell you how crappy they are . . . someone comes and says "una go bow" is crap . . . and goes on to give his own meaning to the lines . . . not the meaning originally intended by the artiste . . .

Can't we just be reasonable for once

I heard a SKY B track for the first time. Men I no fit shout.

Gba mi leti kin di olowo ohhhhhh-Men that song is wack, I heard the
artiste(can't remember his name) has been around for a while.

Everything about Olu Maintain is wack.

And by the way, Mode 9's "CRY" AINT ORIGINAL, It contains an interpolation
of an old Talib's track. A producer friend of mine once played it for me in his studio.
I'll get the title track and album and post it by weekend.

Track: Never Been In Love
Album: Beautiful Struggle.
Artiste: Talib Kweli.

My producer friend said he downloaded it from limewire

I think nothing can beat the whole rubbish that most of our nollywood actors and actresses turned musicians have released. The best seems to be Genevieve's song i can never forget that song, it was smoking hot lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Re: Worst Lines Ever Used In A Nigerian Song. . . . by soloqy: 9:06pm On Apr 04, 2009
I Didnt read all the posts from the start so i dont know if its been posted before.

This:

Shake that thing! Move that thing! roll that thing.

This has become a recurring theme with a lot of the less talented naija musicians around.

If they neither have the ability to right meaningful lyrics, nor the talent to be even minutely creative, they always end up with the above .
