For the second Copa America in a
row, Brazil have been eliminated on
penalties in the quarter-finals at the hands
of Paraguay. The shootout delivered
justice in the end, as the the Brazilians were second best throughout the contest.


Brazil led through Robinho's first half
strike, but Derlis Gonzalez levelled to take
the game to penalties after Captain Thiago. Silva's deadly mistake.


But Paraguay still the better side during the shoot out as they buries four out of their five attempts, Brazilians on the other hand missed two and was dumbed out of Copa-America in succession by the Paraguayans in same stage.
