My wife and I fast during the whole
Ramadan, but at night, she doesn't want to
sleep with me. She doesn't even want to
touch me, and this makes me feel very
restless. Please advice.

My i believe it is not a sin to make love to your wife during ramadan especially in the night when you break your fast. But I'll like to understand with your since she is a wife to you, she is always there for you. Please just allow her, respect her wish may be she vowed to do that during this ramadan for a reason. Or she is into a special prayers and she decided to do it this way Tthank you

derailing but can I just ask:

what's with the "t"/"tu" on Arabic/Islamic names used in Africa?

I usually just hear "Aisha", Rukaya", Tahir

when I got here it became aishatu. rukayat, attahiru?

it literally took me around 3 weeks to decipher what "attahiru" was supposed to mean. I thought it was just some random ethnic Hausa name...

shed some light on this please? is it to do with grammar or vowel harmony or something?

If she's worked all evening preparing Iftar for you, I'd imagine she'd be tired for any intimate activity at night. Sex needs a lot of energy, so allow her some space at this stressful period.

Brother. It due to her understanding. Get hadith nd fiqihu that explains it allowed after breaking fast nd obly for your wife u married nd paid her dowry complete. Not a arrangy wedding. May Allah guide us aright.

This is the known best way to teach a woman that believe she can use sex as a weapon against a man.

My wife has bn starving me of sex after she delivered our 1st child abt 5yrs ago.In fact she wouldn't want to SLP with me at all.But ever since I was caught redhanded abt my affair with other lady,na she dey pursue me now with unending sex begging me every time not to leave her.Calling me every hour of the day asking abt me how many day is going and all.

My lesson, don't give any woman to lord over you abt when and where not to have sex.A woman should bear it in mind that she is getting married to a man and every duty inclusive.

Salaam...to d best of my knwledge, it is tru that it is nt amongst d wife's obligation in islam to cook or do housechores generally.. It is only seen as ihsan(good deed out of d will of ha hrt) n in d sight of Allah if she dusnt do dem, ders no sin upon ha. Bt among ha obligations is to ansa ha husbnds cal.. So frankly,if she saves energy sparn housework, she shud ansa n if she has to work he shud b considerate
