Yes it has IR, dat why it can control AC and TV as a remote. Between J7 and M5, I suggest you compare the spec and price, absolutely gionee win. And also gionee prefer to bring products with affordable price and premium quality Friedyokes: |

Ryanxu:How durable and rugged is this phone, the last time I bought Gionee, that was probable something like a year or 2 ago, I was careless with phone due to drinking habit, my phone fell in water and quickly picked it, can't believe that mark the end of the phone, I went to Gionee centre at Ikeja beside computer village and I was charged with 6k to fix the screen, I asked the lady, fixing screen isn't the problem, I have had screen damage before, this would be the second time as it felt in water, I did like the phone but questioned the lady,what if it fell again and something like this occurred, the lady honestly tell me the truth that the screen will vanish again, though I am always guilty of removing screen guard because I hate paperlike something on the screen,the phone was P something, I have since then been using series of BB like Q10,Curve 8 and likely to move back to Android, I may test Gionee with M2mini by next week and it success, like to move back to M5 before the end of the year, hope I won't be dissappointed this time again but there product is wow except for the problem I had with last and ever purchased so far, |

My Gionee M3 battery charger is having problem and I would like to get another charger for the phone. I need a fast charger that can work effectively with Gionee M3. Any suggestion and price? |

macdot:You can use the pre-installed system manager, it has everything you need. Note I am not using M5 but all Gionee phones by default comes with the system manager. 1 Like

Getting the m5 for a close friend, I just need clarification /confirmation about these thanks. How many notification color does the led notification light have[that is if it has a notification light]? How long does it take to charge? How vivid is the screen? How good is the viewing angles? How long does it last during heavy usage? How many apps can you minimize before the first app you minimize restarts when you reopen it? Does it lag when playing games like asphalt 8 and others? How good is the picture quality front and back? How good is the network reception? Can apps be moved to sd card? |
