I SUPPOSE ANY OF YOU AFRICAN CHRISTIAN CONVERTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A RATIONAL ANSWER

SOURCE

He died and rose. The blood he shed is what makes the sacrifice valid!!

The sacrifice was not just Any Sacrifice! He did not resurrect in a normal human body but in a resurrection body!!

It can only be appreciated by those who desire to appreciate it!!

Lol. True. Other examples you fail to consider:

1. I sacrifice (give up) my bed so that my younger one may sleep in it for three nights. Have I lost my bed forever?

2. I sacrifice (give up) the use of my laptop for the day so that a friend may use it to complete an assignment. Have I lost my laptop forever?

3. I sacrifice (give up) my car so that my brother may use it to go for a job interview in time since his is still under repair. Have I lost my car forever?

What in the definition of sacrifice implies that the use of the word must be associated with permanent loss?

Dude... if you collect am back... no be sacrifice... it's plain simple...

Not much. I admit I'm ignorant and make no claims to any. Others choose to worship their ignorance and call it God.
lets be rational here.... I have not made out any single rationality from all you have said.....
ME==>if Jesus christ is Lord, and he died for my sins and ressurected on the third day, and i believe in him, then i will spend eternity with him in heaven....if Jesus is not Lord and i believe in him, when I die, i will have nothing to loose, either ways, i win...
Sonoflucifer==> if Jesus is Lord, and yhu dnt believe in him, when you die, you are FINISHED...If Jesus is not lord, and you dnt beleive in him, then when you die, you have nothing to loose......weigh the options and choose wisely....HAPPY EASTER...

Jesus is the Lord.

lol

Most of you would not believe that this so called Je-zeus is your lord if you hadn't encounter the evil imperialists who came to ravage you Africans

That alone floors every argument of the so called Jesus being your Lord

How can a creator be begging his creation to believe he created it
Does that even makes any bit of sense?!

What do you believe in?
I believe if there's a God, giving us a brain wasn't just for design purposes. The brain is to be functional.

I believe our senses can be easily fooled, how much more faith?

I believe more mysteries lie in nature than our head can ever process.

I believe these mysteries should inspire awe, rather than dread.. Curiosity rather than worship.

Is there a beginning or an end? That I do not know. We're just a chapter in history. One day, everyone on this thread and viewing it (Christian, Atheist, Muslim whatever) will be dead.

I also realise beliefs are not facts. Someone's belief is another's bullshit. Including mine.

What was he to lose? His life.
What did he gain? His life.
Was he aware death wasn't final? Yes, he was.
What was he? A substitue for the livestock sacrificed under the Old covenant.
Did livestock resurrect, like zombie chickens and cows and pigs? No, they stayed dead.
Jesus didn't stay dead. So what was lost?
You've not said anything about the blood he shed , the shame he bored and the pains he went through

Is non-faith a type of faith? In typography, is sans serif a type of serif?

Christians will lie and kill Jesus again just to win a believer. Lol.

So you ignore everything said because you dont understand it and simply reiterate your own position!

I have faith God exists.
You have faith he does not.
Some dont know and so dont need faith.

Simple really.

In other words, my 'giving up' the use of my bed for three days does not count as sacrifice because it does not entail permanent loss? Therefore, any act of giving up something which does not constitute permanent loss is lending, not sacrifice. Interesting.

Lol. Going by your 'definition' of sacrifice as an act that is "heavy" and constitutes permanent loss, I'll say my act of giving up the use of my laptop for the day so that another may use it for his benefit is not a sacrifice.

I get you. A temporary loss of something is lending while a permanent loss of something is sacrifice. Lolz. May I remind you that you defined sacrifice as:

On that note, I rest my case.

E don do now!!!
Clearly u don't understand what sacrifice means...
According 2 ur scenarios, u made a sacrifice, and its ur and their utilities, not ur lappy or bed....(I.e u sacrificed d enjoyment u ar supposed 2 get 4rm sleeping on ur bed 4dat nyt, same goes 4 ur lappy....from d defination, "LOSS" or "GIVE UP" must be involved....

When you finally die and see that allah is the one true God. Hell fire awaits you bro....you better weigh your options wella. As we can see, Allah's hell would be very hot. See what his followers are serving in this lifetime.

Maybe English is your problem...." Give up" or na, does it have to be permanent to be a sacrifice? Its a "yes" or "no" thing

I would, if I lived in a better society. Where beliefs are treated as beliefs not facts. Where religion has little influence in matter of politics, policies and law. Where Christians and Muslims keep killing each other, yet the atheists and pagans are going to hell.
Maybe you'd love to trade places.

Of course not

It was created
But not by those entities you people are praying to

But everything (and i mean EVERYTHING) started from nothing

You are a creation and also a creator

A creator is not greater than his/her creation cause he/she just harnessed energy to create
cause everything is ENERGY!
and everything is EVERYTHING
I appreciate your feedback and I believe that I am a creator but not the world.
I will appreciate it if you could carry through your own perceived knowledge of creation. How comes about me as a man?

So the basic of life and existence in general is not science? Where are you from?

Of course it is not science

Science is supposed to be the study of finding things
but it actually is the study of a system which other people have found, doctored and structured for people to follow so as to use it to form the basis of their thoughts, ideas and methods

Where i'm from??
It is written in my moniker

That's if you can find the place
(i my self is still yet to find the place tho)

Absolutely not for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 corinthians 1:18

There are many explanations of the Christian belief in the Trinity but non believers dont want to understand them. We already know you dont believe and you know ee do so why are you wasting our time? It is quite infantile and merely exemplifies bigoted Christian baiting to cause an argument.

sacrifice means to offer something,

Jesus leave his throne and came to earth to die for our sins, their is no Angle who can stand the pain they will go through
.that was a great sacrifice.can a world king give his life for his followers sinners, let say the truth not a clean person,a mere sinners like me and thank God that he resurected after 3days to over come the power of death that can only kill a mere body not a soul.
