I was once watching pastor Ajiboye of Redeem one day on tv where he narrated how a certain man who has been trying to catch a glimpse of him on the alter with so much effort without succeeding. He said anytime the man made an effort to catch a glimpse of him, the man is always being blocked (though unconsciously) by other members of the congregation. Then, all of a sudden, the man just grew taaaalllllllll, and high above everybody in the auditorium, and he was able to see him. That was the moment I lost respect for this man of God. He even said the man's wife could not recorgnised him again. It made me wonder how and why would a PhD in Mathematics for that matter believe such a story if he was being told that, not to talk of him being the one telling such a cat and bull story. That was pathetic to say the least.

I agree with almost all...,not too clear on #3 on marrying from the fold since the Bible advises that one should not be unequally yoked. So if I am from the church where worshippers eat grass then my wife should also be a grass cutter ehmmm.... a grass eater or would be problems in the marriage. I totally disagree with #5.... the Bible makes it clear that we are all sinners and not one is righteous. Isn't that the reason why we must always pray and ask for forgiveness? If you are righteous then you need not pray and ask for forgiveness since you have no sin....in fact you should've already been in Heaven. Be very careful of judging oneself and self righteousness.....that should be one big reason for you to leave a church....when the pastor declares he was anointed by God...that's a self righteous liar.

Obviously the witter of this post dnt have a bible if he does may be a gift nd even as that he doesn't read it only the day he remembers to go to church when invited by something insde skirt. Talking about FLAMBOUYANT lifestyle of church leaders, I think the poverty of the environment and what happens in other sectors outside the church caused it.I am currently out of Africa, and just this morning in the sunday school we had cookies,cakes,coffee, etc on the table right before us as we discussed. We did not touch a quarter of it up to the time we ended the teaching/discussion. On my way home i was thinking of doing something similar when I get back to Nigeria. I then remembered a programme we had in Nigeria recently, the food ought to go round but the poverty of the people have made some to take 3x extra and hide somewhere, so some people complained they have not eaten and it was exhausted. The poverty of our people is major problem. In some places around the world, food is not an issue at all and all are same.
In Cape Town I understand the VC uses one of the pool cars to move around and it can be changed by the transport dept. After work he finds his way home. No official car. But in Nigeria you know its different, these things affects the church and impact it too. Nigerian pastors believe enjoying more than others is the in thing. He is careful to send his kids to great/big schools.
But abroad, even the public schools are very standardised, so any one who goes there has great things upstairs.Down here on Nigeria, we know the state of our public primary and secondary schools.

I do not wish to be abusive, but permit me to say, you sounded ignorant and... Did I see you write, "where the pregnancy will lead to death of the woman"?
First, who told you being pregnant leads to death?
Secondly, if the first is possible, why don't the doctor carry out a CS?
