Payment Procedure Guidelines for New and Returning Students
For New Students - Print out your NOTIFICATION SLIP on the Covenant University website (Click on CU PORTAL to access the slip)
Use the Covenant University Pin Payment Platform (Please do not use etranzact)
For New Students - Acceptance Fee is part of total fees (See details on Notification Slip).
Students are to pay School fees in full (100% payment) before the resumption date.
Use your Registration Number as Username and Password.
Please Note that the Transaction Charge to be added to your school fees when making payment at the bank is N350.

Steps on how to make payment on Covenant University Portal
1. Get to any of the banks listed below to make payment

UBA PLC

2. Request to make payment through the Covenant University PIN Payment platform.
3. Follow the instruction given by the bank's Teller
4. Obtain a receipt printout which contains your PIN number and Receipt number
5. Proceed to www.covenantuniversity.edu.ng
6. Click on ‘CU Portal’ at the top-right corner of the webpage
7. Enter your details and Login (Use Application No as ID and Password)
8. Click on ‘Pay Fees’
9. Click on the ‘Here’ link to proceed
10. Enter ‘Amount’ and ‘Purpose’ of payment. Click on ‘Next’ to continue
11. If payment detail entered is correct, click on the ‘Here’ link to proceed
12. Click ‘OK’ to continue
13. Click the ‘Here’ link to proceed
14. Select ‘CU Pin’ as an option of payment
15. Click on ‘Proceed’ to continue
16. Enter ‘Receipt No’ and ‘Confirmation No’ to make payment
17. Click on ‘Pay’
18. Click on ‘Print Receipt’ to print your receipt

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON BABCOCK UNIVERSITY 2015/2016 FEES
Our attention has been drawn to some misinformation and misrepresentation of the University’s fees as posted on some blogs.
For the avoidance of doubt, we present here the official fees for the 2013/2014 Session as approved by the University Administration.

TUITION:
100 and 200 Levels: N380, 000
300 – 500 Levels: N310, 000 for all programs except Medical Program.
The consolidated fee for the Medical program at Benjamin S. Carson School of Medicine is N2 Million per Session, and this covers Tuition, Accommodation, Feeding (3 meals), Laboratory, Clinical charges and every other charge associated with the program.
ACCOMMODATION: There are three types of accommodation at Babcock University based on the preference of students
Regular N 70,000 per session
Premium N 100,000 per session
Classic N 150,000 per session
This fee depends on size, amenities and number of students per room.
FEEDING The University has 2 and 3 meal options for resident students; who are at liberty to choose any of the options. The 2 meal option is N 94,300 per student per academic session; the 3 meal options is N 141,450 per academic session.
MEDICAL INSURANCE: N 15,000
The University has an insurance policy which covers all regular medical treatment against accidents, disability, death, and other hazards at the University Teaching Hospital. In addition, a PCF arrangement takes up full sponsorship responsibility for students whose parents or sponsors die during their course of study at Babcock University.
PROFESSIONAL FEES: Only applicable to specialized programs such as, Accounting, Med. Lab., Public & Allied Health, Law and Nursing because of additional requirements by Professional regulatory bodies.
IT COMPETENCE: Designed for all Non-Computer Science students to equip them with advanced IT competence skills placing them in job market readiness in reality with the global trend. The cost is N 30, 000 per academic session.
Advanced IT Certification is compulsory for all Computer Science students for International certifications prior to graduation. Certifications include: Oracle, Cisco and Microsoft. The Certification fee is N 69, 000.
MISCELLANEOUS FEES FOR 100 AND 200 LEVELS: Covers Medical examination, Medical insurance, Students’ Association fee, Psycho-social test, Matriculation fee etc. This costs N 38, 000
Miscellaneous Fees from 300-500 Level is N 22, 000
BOOKS: All students are expected to make a general provision of the sum not less than N 25, 000 to acquire recommended books. This is an optional arrangement and it is not part of the University fee structure.
The average fee at BU is N 630, 500 and this covers Accommodation, Feeding, Tuition, Medical insurance and miscellaneous fees.
- Law is N763, 000 as against the reported N2m posted on the blogs referred to above.
- Accounting is N763, 000 as against the reported N 1.5m
- Medicine is (N 2m consolidated as against the reported N3m).
- Nursing is N 763,000 as against the reported N1m.
