Am just here sitting alone since my parent travel to london. I would have skyped wit you but i misplace my Apple laptop power pack so i have to hit south Africa to get a new one. I wanted visitting the mall to night but my Aunt went out wit my bugatti and my junior brother is out wit the 2014 range rover,the toyota highlander had a little problem, the tyre of Honda CRV is flat and i hate driving lexus jeep at night, i tried calling our driver to come and pick me with my mum's ferrari but no credict in my account, so can you please send me MTN 100 so that i can call him plz llllllooooooozzzzzz

Where do you stay? Have u been to Kubwa, Lugbe, Buwari, Zuba to AYA etc? At least, Kubwa and Lugbe are 10 lanes each inclusive of service lane so pls tell me what do you want? Not to mention Berger road. Dude, biko no even think am.

Do you mean wide roads like the one in the picture below?
The road in that picture has a speed limit of 50km/hr. If that road was in Nigeria, cars would be racing 120 MILES/hr(most people can't differentiate btw miles and km) on that road, irrespective of whether a limit sign is present or not.

So, wide roads are not valid excuses for causes of accidents. It could be narrowed down to roads without control/enforcement or poor driver's training.

The design of the road is poor, too many curves and the impatience of drivers on that single lane road doesn't help at all.

I remember the way one guy insulted me on this same nairaland for advising him to watch his speed for his own good & the innocent people sharing the road with him.
The magnitude of this wreckage shows the kind of speed one or both of the vehicles must have been moving at.
Even though it is a useless social convention, I say RIP to the dead.
However, may the bereaved find consolation.

Most Nigerians are lawless. The speed limit rules are always observed in the breach. Maximum speed limit on expressway (dual carriageway) is 100km/hr while on single carriageway is 80km. Besides there are 30km/hr and 50km/hr zones. But most Nigerian drivers don't observe these rules. The result often is this type of fatal crash. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.

Nigeria is a complex country. Driver's licencing is poor, influx of cars from the US where miles are used in car odometers, obscure road signs, DUI is common, poor road design e.t.c
