Mtn o, they are very daft...they go send message sotey once I see text on my fone,i no dey bother read am again, na so I dey always miss important messages..

Not sure between mtn and airtel oh. But airtel is the most annoying cos they add like 15 spam calls in addition to the sms daily. If u have a smart phone, u can actually add those numbers to spam and u will stop receiving the messages. Unfortunately, u can't predict the numbers as new ones are added daily. I also use true caller to block those useless calls too.

If you don't mind take time out write out the numbers that are sending the messages, they are third party. Once you've written it out, call MTN customer care and tell them to remove you from the list by calling out the numbers. I was able to give them at least 10 codes, now my ba3 lasts 3 days. Thank me l8r.

2. I've noticed Calling them to complain of constant promo messages, automatically adds your phone number to their number one customers to receive it.... Yeah more like a TO DO LIST.....

There is no limitation to what MTN can send a text to about. Even if you just think of something in your mind, MTN will send a text to that effect. e.g. "If you are hungry, send HUN to 34200 to receive tips on what you can eat." The worst part is, call their Customer Care to that effect and they will increase the tempo and number of the sms/calls you receive daily.
