The bible says that all the kings of the earth visited Solomon. grin grin

2Ch 9:22 King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth.
2Ch 9:23 All the kings of the earth sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart.

do these kings included the kings of china, India, and in the Western Hemisphere? because no such thing ever happened.

This goes to show that the ancient jews taught that the entire world comprised only of the middle east, and some parts of africa, when they were writing their fables. . .

how would u know? were you there to see that no such thing ever happened?

also did it ever occured to you that the time it was written there wasn't such a place called india? just because it is on the map today doesn't mean it was called the same thing then, and just so u know historians have placed several tribes in the Old Testament in asia minor, so it is very possible that they did come to visit King solomon.
just to note, greece is a part of the western hemisphere, pls do more research.

don't u mean thought that the entire world comprised only of the middle east, and some parts of africa.

and even if they did, so what? most of the world was unaware of the other parts of the world, does that mean that they are illegitimate and liars in their writings. seriously u will look for anything to convince urself of false truths won't u?

the chinese would have written about it. . .by the way the chinese started writing before the ancient jews. . .the chinese also keep records of events there is no record of them ever coming across or doing business with the ancient jews any where. . . .

from wikipedia. . . .

China has one of the world's oldest and continuous civilizations, consisting of states and cultures dating back more than six millennia. It has the world's longest continuously used written language system, and is the source of many major inventions, such as what the British scholar and biochemist Joseph Needham called the "four great inventions of Ancient China": paper, the compass, gunpowder, and printing. Historically, China's cultural sphere has extended across East Asia as a whole, with Chinese religion, customs, and writing systems being adopted to varying degrees by neighbours such as Japan, Korea and Vietnam. The first evidence of human presence in the region was found at the Zhoukoudian cave and is one of the first known specimens of Homo erectus, now commonly known as the Peking Man, estimated to have lived approximately from 300,000 to 550,000 years ago. Noticeably, it is also known that the Peking Man was able to control and use fire.

the indians have a history that is also as old as the chinese too, they have no record of doing business or interacting with the ancient jews during the time of solomon. . .that is if such a person ever existed. . . . asia minor does not comprise of china and indai. . .

sure they are, i once debated you, and you said that the noah's flood wasn't a global flood because noah wrote his account according to how he saw the world, you said he believed that the world comprised only of parts that he knows. . . is that not the same thing i am now saying? what am i saying that is different from what you have said before which is that the ancient jews thought that the world comprised only of the parts that were close to them. . . .

Uhm! King Solomon was a man after God's heart, he was loved so much by many, but when God called him (Solomon) he refused to hearken unto the voice of God and so he went ahead marrying soo many wives and God hated his attitude.

@mazaje

"Behold, These are coming from afar. These from the north and the west and these from the land of Sinim" was said by prophet Isaiah, an come to find out that Sinim is the name for China in Hebrew. hmm, go figure.

Now I'm not saying that it is true. I am only saying others who have also done their research will disagree with you. So maybe some more research is in order?
Just suggesting.

Abeg, is there a record of the Ooni of Ife, Alaafin of Oyo, Sultan of Sokoto e.t.c. The writer of that passage of the bible was caught in some exaggeration. Lady my dear just admit it, we can excuse him on the basis that he was probably a politician with an expansive vocab. If you can't defend the bloke, then no one can.

Like I said, some more research needs to be done by mazaje if she will make claims. That passage says all Kings of the earth. We know that each day archaeologists and historians discover new things each day, so yes it very well could be. Just like the The chinese xia dynasty was considered a myth until scientific excavations found that it actually is true, so could it be true that the Ooni of Ife, and co encountered the Jews, if they existed at that time. We are all connected in some kind of way. Don't be quick to rush and say it isn't true, when infact tomorrow science can prove you wrong, as it has done many times. Science proves itself wrong a lot.

sinim is now china in hebrew eh? all this things can be very well researched, DNA and advancement in sciences will refute the suppositions of the writer that some of the ancient chinese were jews. . . shocked shocked grin grin where did he ever get that idea from? its very clear from his write up that he is lying. . . .

Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; (KJV)

what is paul implying here?. . are we to believe that the entire world had heard about Jesus at this time (about 60 A.D.)? does paul think that the whole world comprise only of the roman empire or what?
