The 2 bolded statements, seem to conflict with each other. I have a 9-5 job and a vehicle that would ordinarily qualify (2013 Kia Rio less than 40,000kms), but I might only be available for Uber rides on weekends only, as I have no plans to quit my full-time job. This will be more of a weekend side-hustle thing, so I reckon a net monthly profit of N50,000 - N60,000 is enough for me. So are you saying I can't achieve this driving just part-time/weekends only?

Bro, you see the first bolded part you are talking about is what Nigerians hear and their ears goes up like dog that saw a cat. If you work Monday to Friday from 9-5, you still want to add Uber hustling to it as a side thing and you want to make maximum profit.
Did you consider your health at all? This body is not a piece of wood o. If you carry out this your proposed plan, guy you will break down like something else. That is not my prayer for anyone but in our attempt to make money, let's mind how you push your body o. I have seen Uber drivers sleep of while driving and if I have time I will upload pictures of accidents involving Uber drivers All of them thought they could cheat nature.
Am not saying you should not do it o, but just consider your body o

You can. Weekends are the busiest periods on Uber and Friday, Saturday and Sunday earnings always exceed the remaining four days. You can make 60K+ after Uber earning per weekend especially if you start from Friday and include Sunday (when most drivers are off the streets).

Uber does not accept any car older than 2009 so you need another car. You determine what you earn. While it is possible to earn N150,000, it is also possible to earn N40,000 per week. You own your own destiny. If you work hard, you can earn N100,000 after Uber with N30,000 fuel and N10,000 for toll/data/car wash and you can keep N10,000 for car maintenance/servicing/repairs. The balance N50,000 is yours if you drive yourself and the car is yours. If you maintain the car well and become more frugal, you will save some part of the N20,000 and earn more. The best is to drive the car yourself if you can. Full time of course. The second best is to get a driver to drive the car full time. Part time is off it.

I thought the year of car allowed has been reducee to 2006? Please kindly confirm this. Thanks

Depends on how much you're earning on that 30k worth of fuel? 30k might be ok.

Possible to spend 22K on Uber and make 90K after Uber. My budget is 25K but many times it can be slightly higher or lower depending on how much work is done. My advice is to ensure the car has only 4 plugs, the 4 plugs are working optimally, the injector is up and perfect, the fuel pump is working well, etc. Also, if you can choose, a 1.6 or 1.8 ltr engine is much better than a 2.4 ltr engine in terms of consumption.

My opinion. Why not get a smaller car. 2.4l engine is a little too much. You can make do with a nice, sharp car with a smaller engine and spend less on fuel.
Other suggestions: Honda City, Toyota yaris, Corolla, Hyundai elantra or honda civic

My opinion: What's the REAL mileage on the engine? Foreign used? Run Carfax report. Depends on how clean the car is. If the car was bought in Nigeria in 2009 and used for 7 years on Nigerian roads, you will likely have to fix many thing before yosu can emjoy the car. First, check the suspensions (front and rear shock absorbers, stabilizer linkage, bushing, etc) and the engine. Be careful before you sign. If everything checks out or the owner is ready to fix all the issues, you can do 3M in 18 months. That's less than 40K per week.
