I don't believe this woman oh.

@firstytymum
Are u sure its ur husband that can't hold it or you..?? grin cos I remember a couple of days back u posted that u were patiently waiting for oga to come and 'encourage LO to come out' - lolz. So na you want am and no be oga. Oga shouldn't have too much problem. If you work on im with the other methods like olokings says, he'll be alright (at least 4 a bit). Its you that has the problem because no torchlightin or touchin of your down-under.

Anywayz, gibberish or no gibberish... You'll just have to wait until renovation work (to borrow 4rm olokings again) is complete down there. You are a dr so I don't think I have to explain the health effects to you, (lochia, infection, pain etc). You just have to explain it to him, get him a decoder for the gibberish if need be becos ur health is more important than a couple of mins of pleasure. Let him know that if you fall ill as a result of the gbenshin, he'll be the one to take care of your baby - changing diapers, singing & dancing all night long etc

I also don't think that oga sef would enjoy it if he logs in and finds out that his highway has expanded by two/three lanes grin or you sef begin to search for his truck/lorry on the highway.... cheesy cheesy

Yep! Spot on. Very negligent set of ppl, Dr's don't remember patient's history, even with their IPad in front of them. (Grey's Anatomy wanna be).

They could not manage common contractions, adviced me to go home and watch it. Till pains graduated into labour and water broke. End of story.

Please shine ya eye o! I know things happen but this was gross negligence!

Thank God for restoration.

@Middy, Sorry about your previous loss. May you not experience another of such.

I'm not trying to discredit your statement but I used the hospital in question for both my pregnancies and they were quite professional and thorough.

My first preg was risky and I would have had a miscarriage but for the attention I got there.

Not l3ss than 3 of my friends including one that lost an earlier preg at a high brow hospital have used them and no negative report. The only thing is at the first sign of complication, they will want to push for CS instead of VD.

Another thing is their antenatal patients have multiplied greatly between last yr and now. So you spend a long time there for ANC checkups. I yabbed them that they've turned to General Hospital

I'm not trying to advertise for them but want to share my own experience.

For naija levels they were more than okay. But of course you can't compare that with the medical care here in yankee.

Have you read the reviews for this hospital? I considered it before settling for Orlando cos the price was very affordable but I only heard and read not so good things (from the area where the Hospital is to the nurses bad attitude and insistEnce on speaking only spanish) so I fashied.

If you have and are still willing to go ahead, then please ignore my comment.

Hello my people, Thank you all for the information available here. its been a blessing for me. I want to apply for my visa at the end of the month. I plan to use Haileah Hospital atleast to even get a quote. I have gotten the hospital's response via email. They gave me a couple of doctor's to contact for the doctor's fees and appointment, unfortunately its been almost impossible getting thru to them. I intend staying in florida.

Has anyone used Haileah, or does anyone have a doctor's contact, email preferably or even phone number around florida?

Any advice or information will be appreciated. Even if its another affordable hospital within the miami area, I am open to suggestions pls.

Thanks

Especially for those in cold areas, this season is very harsh on adult skin not to talk of newborns.

The naija visa on arrival is for business visitors and you'll have to get a letter from immigration in abuja.

We did it for some business partners in my office and it was full of comma and k-leg.

And if you end up with the ETC, pls make copies o! My in-law has not been able to get her daughter's naija passport in Lagos cos she doesn't have a copy of the ETC to prove that she brought Her to naija legally (the girl is 3 now). She's planning to get it in the UK since they already have UK passports.

shawlar:

Just coming back from the Naija embassy people @ Comfort Inn.
They are not issuing visas and even the passports they are processing will take 4-6weeks before you can collect it... - like I said, not for me.
The man also said that instead of an ETC, i can apply for the visa online and there is an option of collecting it in MMA II when I arrive in Nigeria...
That is what he said oh...., I don't know if it will work and I'm not that adventurous to try it mesef...

Amen o! My dear everyone will speak from their personal experience.

I was admitted and my Gynae abandoned me till well after the incident happened. Didn't hand me over to another Gynae and no other was on ground till it was too late.

Nurses on night duty refused to attend to me even when I was in excruciating pain all night, I had to wake one up to even respond to my enquires after practically crawling to the Nurses station..

The nurse that eventually attended to me gave me a drip which on hind sight (sounds like ocytoxin) my body was on fire for about 45 mins and I was hot all over. Water broke 2ce in less than an hr after that.

While I was in the delivery room I was transfered to another room half way through the procedure while waiting for the placenta to emerge, with 'everything' hanging between my legs, because they needed the room for someone else.

Remains of the placenta were left behind, which was discovered 3 weeks later.

In another climate this would have been a mega Legal battle but I left it all to God.

In my current hospital the difference between the care @ GC and them is from here to heaven. Due diligence and apparent value for life is out of this world.

I don't wish this horrific experience on anyone, not even my enemy!

Need I say more?

honestly you took this out of my mouth.
Even ordinary powder with talc isn't good for a baby... Which powder doesn't have talc? It causes lung damage... But no matter how it's preached people still use it.. The way women pack it on babies body you'll wonder why the baby is so white...

Vaseline blue seal is good for baby skin. Sebamed baby soap is $5 approximately I know it's expensive it's very good too. There are different products made specifically for baby skin.

I think the excuse is that out mothers used it and nothing happened so we will use it. You've forgotten the people who made it for our mothers ain't the people making it today. Then it was genuinely for good health and skin... Now it's for more profit and how much more profit can b made plus the copy cats.

@firstymum did u get sebamed cleansing bar at Walmart online, I intend buying it along from Naija but couldn't get it from my regular store here, learnt its scarce. I used it for my first daughter till she was 18months.
What's coconut oil used for, u mentioned it in one of your post.

Well are a doc. ...discuss n educate him further. ..then I'd say. ...this is a gud time and golden opportunity for you guys to experiment on ur sexuality of cranking n running ur engines without firing ur #pistons & #plungers wink...

See as I de yinmu yinmu for you.
You don't need soap or a product to create dimples on baby cheeks.
You just depress both cheeks after each bath when they are just born and their skin is still malleable.

My baby wasn't born with dimples, so I tried it for a few days,(my pikin must get toro!) dres one tiny impression now when she cries or smiles.
I also did that bum one at d base of the spine. Dunno what it's for, but I think it looks pretty having dimples above d bum bum grin
