Why are people just here saying rubbish and condemning the church rule? This issue is very simple, the couple or groom should be blamed. This issue is not about how much he bought the shoes but the rule of the church is "remove your shoes" before entering the church! So is the groom expecting an exception to this rule becos he bought his shoes 50k or becos its his wedding?
The only exception to this is if the guy was not told before hand but he was, then screw him for not refusing before the wedding day and waited till he got to the point of removing it. As for the person saying this doesnt happen in deeperlife, its just like saying you want to wed in a deeperlife church with a ring or without covering your hair and you expect the pastor or the church to give you an exception to the founding rules of the church!

What type of father would you be?

I don't care. He is not a member of the church. He doesn't want to remove his shoes. He is marrying someone from their church not the other way round. He has done in enough by coming to the church and not insisting on traditional marriage . The church should better start searching for a suitor for their newest spinster.
