MTN is a bleep because I got same SMS and the worst part of it is where the SMS said I should go to Abeokuta to complete my registration when I am in Lagos. It shows that MTN is confused network

Mtn is getting out of hand

I ported to Etisalat two weeks ago for the same reasons and life has been good since then. I wish I had ported earlier. Just go to an Etisalat office. It takes less than 15 mins.

Same to me, infact I got a call from their service center informing me to go update. I registered my sim when it startd. They ve sent me two sms today. Even gave me 5k worth of airtime. I ll be goin later or morrow. Hope I get more freebies.

I got same thing and I was like what the hell. Not going to any stupid office anymore. Dear Customer, please visit any MTN Registration point near you from Dec 26 with valid ID Card to update your fingerprint & picture to NCC standard. Thank you.

Yes, i received the same message from mtn yesterday. And even my line was blocked too. I never knew what went wrong; at least not until when i almost beat the hell out of my little kid because i thought he tampered with my phone while i was sleeping. Can you imagine the mis-conception? Anyway...

pls kindly explain this porting issue . Is it that you ported with an Mtn sim to another network or you bought another network sim afresh

Na wah o. I didn't leave my house to go for any sim registeration, they only called n asked for my mother's maiden name which I gave n thereafter, got a msg that my sim has been registered. I even got 2k worth of credit n another 2k on Christmas day. Dey just dey do anyhow

i'm just tired of this mtn people, my phone was stolen and av being unable to retrieve my line for abt three weeks now because along the time my line was off mtn had blocked it again even after i had done a reregistration ealier

You people should not come and congest our networks, kindly remain where you are till our foreign reserves grow to $50bn

I ported from MTN to another network about 5 months ago,and I have been so happy ever since I ported. Jeez! I Thank God I left mtn's wahala behind.

Hmm nawa o,same thing here. I registered my sim a few months back,with all they needed. Why are they just misbehaving?
Infact mine was sent 2ce,and then they added one part:10,000naira credit as compensation which can be accessed after I've updated my sim. I went to the adress I was told to go and after missing my way and spending extra,they said they had closed! D crowd there ehn,at almost 4pm wld be more than 150,lol!
The only reason I'll go through this stress again,is because of the 10k credit I'll be getting hehehe!
