I think the bank job is better not just because of the pay but the vast experience you will gain in that position.

Human resources is very lucrative nowadays so I will say it is a better option.
Figure out how you will be able to get your CIPM in a year.
You wont stay on one spot forever so whats the fuss about getting hired and fired.

Only you can however make this choice depending on what the 55k job entails too.
How flexible it is, the proximity to your house amongst many others.

There are a host of things you can still learn in 2016. This must be a different year for you and I folks.

I would recommend the H.R job owing to the fact you would learn a lot and you are sure of your pay monthly cuz it's a bank.

Forget that talk about hire and Fire, you should be optimistic in wherever you find yourself.

But if d startup is in line with your career path, you can give it a shot if u are the "I must go along with my career choice".

But money is the main reason we all working. 20K difference in a year is 240k which you shouldn't let go just like that.

20,000 is NOT 2,000.

You didn't online the Initial Job descriptions/position like you did about the Banking Job.


Whatever it is, I think a Human Resource Personnel is a Bank is a better option as there's tendency of early promotion.

First and foremost, I want to thank seun for this platform.

I finished my NYSC July 2nd last year and ever since then i've been on a lookout.

Just early this week I got two job offers one with a startup company offering to pay 55K and another with a bank as an HR personnel and i'm been offer roughly 75k, but i'm confused on which of this two offers to go for.

Owing to the news of hire and fire in the banking industry, i'm really skeptical on resuming work on Monday, 4th of january.
